Our early evening meal with friends was very enjoyable from the very warm welcome, nice chat with Katya, moving us to a lower table without having to ask, friendly and efficient service despite it being a busy Saturday evening and delicious, well presented food. The restaurant is smart but with a friendly casual ambiance. We'll be back!

I have travelled a lot in Perú. Mr. (Sr.) Lobo is authentic Peruvian - well, as far as you can be, close to the Thames rather than the Pacific Ocean! The service is charming and efficient. Children seem welcome. Prices are reasonable, perhaps the wine less so, given this is Islington. Can be noisy when busy but that's true of most restaurants round here. Recommended.

We had a terrific evening here with a bunch of girl friends . The service and food were great . We loved the beef and the risotto and the hot fish sea bass dish . The house salad was great too although a little bland . We sat at the back near the kitchen so it was surprisingly quiet. Lovely young waiter who we had hoped would play the guitar as he is good but sadly he couldn’t. What a shame . The candle was a small offering you could have ‘thrown in ‘ the cake it was in as we have eaten better cheesecake .

Another wonderful evening at my favourite Islington restaurant, so lucky we booked. The flavours are fantastic and you can taste the love and care that goes into every plate. Thank to the marvellous hosts.

Great restaurant with very attentive staff. The food was lovely and perfect gii oh r a pre show meal. I’ll definitely be returning.

Great food, excellent pisco sours. A little bit expensive (£12 per pisco sour) and portion sizes are quite small. But delicious

Best ox hearts (anticuchos) I've eaten in a peruvian restaurant. And the lomo was superb with fantastic presentation. The drinks were dangerously delicious. And the service was without a doubt excellent. Would definitely come back next time I'm in London.

Our first day experience of Peruvian food. We’re not the most experienced with ‘fancy’ food, but this was the most beautifully presented we’ve ever had. It was also incredibly tasty and we left comfortably full without feeling we had spent loads. The service was incredible and all the dishes were explained. A most visit.
