   MRBL is our favorite restaurant in the Cincinnati /Covington area. Nothing compares to their professional service, delicious food, beautiful view, and outstanding live music. We will absolutely eat here every time we visit Cincinnati!

   We recently celebrated my husband's birthday at this fantastic venue, and I can't recommend it enough! The service was unbeatable, and the atmosphere was truly wonderful. The live singer added an amazing touch to our evening. I personally enjoyed the chef's special beef Wellington, which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delightful. My husband had the bone-in filet, and it was equally delicious. A memorable experience all around!

   Oh. My. Gawh!!! THE best food I have had in a long, long time. Our servers were very attentive, the selection is amazing- we ordered lamb lollipops, tuna tartar, the porterhouse for two, a lobster tail, the gnocchi and the potato volcano 😀 Every single bite was perfection. Pricing is on the higher end but so completely worth it!

   A great view and nice staff. Food and beverage is overpriced. Had to send back a stale glass of wine. Had to send back an overcooked $60 steak. And we were charged a 3% fee for paying by credit card. Whilst we want to support a NKy business, the combination of issues on our first-time visit will mean we likely won’t be back. Too bad!

   This was my fifth visit to MRBL. I always ask for a Riverview. This time I was in the back room, which is a nice location for larger parties. Unfortunately if you are a smaller party in the back room, noise levels seem high, you can’t hear the instrumentalist in the front room and service is slow- very slow. My waiter shared some details that they keep on their customers (me in this case). Things like “Your mother doesn’t drink”. Not only has my mother never been, but on a previous visit I had to correct a server who referred to my older friend as my mother. So we know where the comment came from but even after being corrected, she didn’t correct the note entered. Not only embarrassing for me but also my friend who is not 88. The food is good although it may be too salty for some. They should offer a half salt option on the Asian Beans and especially the mushrooms. You quickly realize why there are so many water waiters that frequent your table. There were long periods where we didn’t see our water and our table was void of consumables. If not for the bottle of wine in front of us, the rating may be less. After our main course, I quietly asked for the check from one of the water waiters (so we could get to another engagement that we were late for) and the waiter came back with questions about desert. Of course I was not going to interrupt giving my guests a chance to have cake. I mentioned we had to leave quickly and could I have the check with the to go cake that was requested. Dinner which included a pre meal cocktail, sushi, main course and to go cake took about 2.5 hours. If we had all courses I can see being there for 2.5-3 hours. I thought we would be out in 1.5-2 hours with 2 seated courses. Poor planning on my part. I could have communicated early that we were under a time constraint, but again I didn’t expect the delays that would occur sitting in the back room. I’ve given 4 / 5 star reviews, but this visit didn’t stack up. Yet, I will be back.

   2nd visit and still as wonderful as first! Julie our server was amazing. Remembered us from last visit back in October! Food and service are outstanding. Comfortable but elegant dining with amazing views!
