A Family Tradition For Over 90 Years

Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tea room. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes.

Every complete chicken dinner includes handmade biscuits, side salad, choice of cabbage or cherry rhubarb, three pieces of fried chicken, and mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. For dessert: your choice of boysenberry pie or boysenberry sherbet. Many other dishes are also available including grilled chicken, salads, and a number of appetizers. A full-service bar, serving signature boysenberry-infused cocktails, is also available.

Currently, we are following all government-issued regulations and seating is currently outside only. Thank you in advance for understanding and we are in this together.

    service awesome, all worked as a team. helpful, attentiveness was great. roasted chicken and fried chicken good but the white meat parts were dry.

    The food is always so tasty! The servers are so friendly and attentive! I love eating at the Knotts Berry Farm Chicken Djnner restaurant!

    Received a lot of food for our money. Drinks were a little pricey. The only food item I didn't like was the corn. The corn had no taste, even adding salt was not enough. Our waitress was hard to find at times.

    I had been with my family years ago for breakfast and the food was amazing . The experience was wonderful and I was so excited to return. This experience was just a small step up from awful. The breakfast was all buffet style most of the food was cold, the selection was mediocre and the service was not great .The price was $59 for adults and $35 for kids, outrageous for this level of a character experience if you will ( as it is titled breakfast with Santa) Santa was a nice man and looked great but he was kinda hidden in the corner and we had to ask if my nephew could receive a toy from the bag as we saw other children receive. I am sad to say we will never return. I will save out overpriced breakfast experiences for Disney, at least the food is good and the characters are super interactive and accommodating.

    The food was bland and had no flavor we got up to get our 2nd plate and they cleared off took all our stuff off the table and gave it to another family within 2 minutes. The printer was not working and could not print our pictures we would have to walk into Knotts if we wanted to print our pictures with Santa

    Food was cold and most of the food trays were empty the whole time. Service was bad. He seemed to be trying but it was still too much. We needed refills the entire time. Santa was great though, like really really good. We wanted to make this a tradition for us since we had such a good time last year, but we don’t think we will be back.

    The. Chicken was delicious and all the staff were very friendly. Best family outing in a long time.

    From The beginning the restaurant did not appeal To us…buffet that food was cold and many pans were empty. When we sat down there was no utensils and the waitress told Is to steal them From other tables. The plates were dirty and had to keep switching them Until we found clean ones . Overall quality and cleanliness of this buffet was not worth or recommended to go.
