Awful experience. We made a reservation for 6pm this Saturday and upon arriving were seated in the very back. Lots of open tables and it was not busy. Right away we sat down and my wife asked if i “smelled something?” It smelled like puke. Nasty and vile. Our server came over to drop off water and we asked to move because of the smell. He acted like he didn’t care and said that we had to host if we wanted to move. He was totally uninterested. I went to talk to the host and he had the same attitude - sorry cant move you. The restaurant was half full and when I pointed it out, he was just rude and still wouldn’t move us. I couldn’t believe it. I grabbed my wife and we left - both pretty dumbfounded that this happened. I’ve never had a worse customer service experience. We went down the street to Jacoby’s and had a great dinner with great service. Avoid Murray’s Tavern.

Went to Murray’s bc I saw the pics of the prime rib. I got mine and it was so small. The green beans were undercooked and squeaky on your teeth. The whiskey sour and New York sour I had was great. The pigs in a blanket were great. Fish and chips were great, NY strip was good. Cheese bread was also good. The server was in short… lazy. She came up to us immediately to bring water. But then We waited 20 mins before she came to take our order.. We order our drinks and apps, and bc she took so long we were also ready to order our entrees.. I said, “we’re also ready to order entrees” And she declined and said “how about you wait for your apps to come out” then she ran off and we did not see her again for another 20 mins. 20 mins after that the apps came..The apps were done and finished by the time she came back to take our order at which point we weren’t even hungry anymore so we split a prime rib which ended up being so small and not big enough to split anyways. In summary food good/ service bad.

Food was decent. Really enjoyed the fish and chips and the tartare. While the prime rib had good flavoring it was a little small for the price. Our server also was pretty awful. When I asked if it was happy hour he said a couple drinks were on happy hour… didn’t mention anything about the appetizers, didn’t give us a menu… why have a happy hour if your servers are trying to hide it? He acted like he’d rather be anywhere than there and really made a good dinner into a mediocre to poor one.

The room was pretty empty but the music was dialed up for a crowd. Too loud. I ordered the roast. It turned out to be cut up steak. Carrots and Yorkshire pudding were good. The cooked tomato couldn’t decide what it was. The service was good.

Our server, Hayley, was personable, patient, friendly, and attentive. Probably the best service we have had at any restaurant in recently. The drinks, appetizers, drinks and desserts were also fantastic. The cheesecake, crab cakes, and Keoke Coffee were outstanding. We will definitely return!!!

Food is good as always. Our service wasn't amazing like the last couple times. Waitress was friendly and helpful, but not as attentive and our credit cards (2- split bill) got charged wrong (they were reversed). Hopefully it's correct now.

Came for some celebratory fish and chips. Service was top notch- felt super taken care of. Well done all around

Had a very nice Xmas day early dinner. Food was all carefully prepared, attractive & delicious. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable & well appointed. Will definitely come back next visit to Austin

The $35 steak frites and martini deal was a STEAL!! Im obsessed and will be back asap. The chimichurri was sooooooo good
