Meze is a traditional culture. From small gatherings for lunch or dinner having different mezes small sample like plates on the table to enjoy with a glass of wine or a cocktail.
Mykonos Meze is established in 2020 and set within one of the beautiful and trendy restaurants of downtown Burlingame , in Lorton Ave. The restaurant offers a beautiful and friendly ambience for all occasions. The outdoor patio is perfect for long, relaxed lunches or dinners with friends surrounded by beautiful bougainvillea flowers over our white and blue walls which gives you a feel of sitting in a greek island.

    Food was great as always , Matie provided us with excellent service. Its very loud but what can you do when a place is packed ( on a Tuesday night)

    Our host was friendly and we believe is the owner of the place. Food was excellent and perfect place to celebrate my mom’s birthday! The staff made her bday extra special with a bday song.

    I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The service was awful—our waiter was rude, didn't greet us with a smile, and answered every question as if he was ready to argue. As for the food, it didn’t improve things. The appetizer was a mess: the octopus was on a bed of tomato paste with no seasoning, and the fried calamari had a strange aftertaste. The prawns were decent, but the fish was completely tasteless—like eating boiled fish with crispy skin. The dips were alright, and the only things that stood out were the feta and olives. To be fair, the guy who cleaned our table was friendly, and I ended up leaving a tip for him, hoping he’d get some of it since the rest of the experience was a letdown. Overall, I won’t be coming back.

    Not the best experience at Mykonos this time unfortunately. Service quite slow and poor. The branzino was just meh. When our waiter asked how the meal was, we were honest. He just shrugged his shoulders and that was that. Why ask if you don’t want the honest feedback?

    Once again the food and service were excellent. However, the noise level is excessive and a large screen TV (with travel marketing video) casts a bright light over parts of the dining room and bar area. Turn it off.

    Had a wonderful dinner on a quiet Sunday night. Food was delicious - had the vegetarian Moussaka and Lamb Shank. Enjoyed some lovely Greek wines. Service was great. Highly recommend going here off-peak because it can be very noisy when busy.

    Excellent service and the food was very good and came in a timely way. Heater was great outside although I booked an inside table.

    We received a warm welcome. Beautiful settings inside and outside. Sadly, our server was clearly unhappy~~that dampens the otherwise tasty experience of our selections. We chose 2 yummy spreads, amazing riblets and meatballs, and the eggplant was exquisite! I’d return just for those! The cauliflower was a serious disappointment ~~ bland and expensive with an almond aioli that was actually smear of mayonnaise tucked under the cauliflower~~don’t bother with it. We couldn’t enjoy or finish it. Including tax n tip (no alcohol) the bill came to $100. Is that standard for San Mateo/Burlingame? This was our first visit to Mykonos Meze. Will consider returning but there are so many eateries in the area to try.
