Thee name Myrtle & Rose was inspired by the flowers used in the crowns often worn by muses in classical mythology. Both Myrtle and Rose then became symbols of femininity, love, and romance. Thee rabbit, an animal commonly found in flower gardens also shares these symbolic ties. Known to be the messenger of Aphrodite, the rabbit is linked to love desire and was gifted by lovers as a symbol of everlasting love.

I keep coming back hoping for a different experience yet unfortunately I had another attempt to have a lovely evening over this past holiday weekend and was disappointed. I made a reservation for a holiday experience for my family to enjoy some cozy food & drinks as advertised and it was too cold with zero provisions to stay. The Host did try to find an option where there was at least a warming lamp but by the time that couch became available we were already frozen and very hungry. We had to go to another restaurant nearby and wait 45 minutes to be sat. We later went for drinks on another rooftop bar where they had small portable fires, and a blanket on every chair. I love the look and vibe of M&R but it keeps disappointing!

Small menu but food was delicious. Drinks were good. Ambience with firepits and lanterns were very pretty. Nice views of the river. Service was great. Area was quaint and dessert was on the house for our anniversary. I would go back

What a hidden gem. Highly recommend the brunch. Would definitely do again. Very cute atmosphere. They had a DJ. Great views of the river. Food was delicious. They have bottomless mimosas for $20.
