Inspired by the flowers used in the crowns often worn by muses in classical mythology, this rooftop garden is named for Myrtle & Rose, symbols of femininity, love, and romance. Featuring a selection of handcrafted shareable bites and fragrant, botanically inspired cocktails, this romantic escape will transport guests with breathtaking views of both Savannah’s majestic river and charming historic district. Thee name Myrtle & Rose was inspired by the flowers used in the crowns often worn by muses in classical mythology. Both Myrtle and Rose then became symbols of femininity, love, and romance. Thee rabbit, an animal commonly found in flower gardens also shares these symbolic ties. Known to be the messenger of Aphrodite, the rabbit is linked to love desire and was gifted by lovers as a symbol of everlasting love.

The limited menu during the pop up event was tasty. We enjoyed a few small plates. And although we've enjoyed sitting at the bar multiple times during our visits, I'll avoid making reservations for outside seating from now on. The servers, including ours, were friendly. But also slow & inattentive. Because the view draws us, we'll be back to visit the bar and listen to live music.

It was a rainy day but the upbeat vibe made it worthwhile. I loved the selections. Also , vegetarian friendly.

Great spot for a small bite , nice view, and a cocktail or two. Staff was very accommodating as it was a windy and chilly night and we asked to be moved twice. Ended up sitting on a quaint sectional with a heater and red Christmas blankets which made it comfortable. Had the mulled wine which was great. The food was ok. Found it to be expensive for the small amount served. The tuna appetizer specifically was quite small. But really you go here for the ambience so I can’t complain too much.

The pop up bar had some very good festive drinks, also our sever Sam took great care and checked on us pretty often. We ordered the Spicy Shrimp, Mushroom toast and Potato croquettes of which the shrimp was our absolute favorite. We were celebrating our anniversary and they were sweet to get us a in house made dessert, which was the cherry on top. Thank you.

I recently visited Myrtle and Rose Rooftop, and while the food, ambiance, and service were absolutely amazing, I was a bit disappointed with how my reservation was handled. I had made a reservation in advance, but when I arrived, I was treated as a walk-in, which was surprising and a little frustrating. Additionally, I had mentioned in the reservation notes that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, but this detail was completely overlooked during our visit. It’s unfortunate because the overall experience was fantastic, but I was hoping for a bit more attention to detail, especially for a special occasion like this. I still recommend Myrtle and Rose for its stunning views and great food, but I’d suggest confirming reservations and special requests in advance to avoid any misunderstandings.

The Christmas decorations that were advertised were lacking. There was nothing special and they really did not have many things. The food was good but portions were small. Example is, we each for the brunch, got one strawberry, tiny helping of blueberries and one extremely small croissant that barely held the anything. The main course was good but extremely tiny. The service took forever. The place was freezing and we tried to use the heat lamps but they do not have enough power to plug them in. They said they blew the switch the day before because of it. The dessert tower had a good selection but finger size portions and only two of each selection and we were a party of three.

Our server was fantastic and he was very attentive. The food presentation and taste were memorable and tasty! I will not only come back, but inform family and friends of how to spend a lovely brunch in Savannah!
