Nami Nori is a casual, award. winning, temaki bar specializing in open-style sushi hand rolls. Our menu features signature temaki, including crunchy varieties, as well as takes on the classics and a special vegan section. The open-style temaki allows guests to enjoy a wide variety of flavors, in each fun-to-eat, visually tempting bite.

We also serve Japanese-inspired snacks and appetizers, along with a selection of beer, sake and wine, available on tap and by the bottle. Nami Nori is a casual yet elegant temaki bar offering guests a unique sushi dining experience in Williamsburg. Coming from the rarified Japanese restaurants in which they trained, partners Taka Sakaeda, Jihan Lee and Lisa Limb envisioned Nami Nori to be a more inclusive place that balances accessibility with a dedication to quality and creativity with a respect for traditional techniques.

There’s nothing better than sitting at the Temaki Counter and having the chef personally hand you each piece! This chef interactive reservation will be at the Temaki counter, which is a high top format. Please note, due to demand, we can’t guarantee that we’ll have the ability to move this reservation to a different table type or dining area.

Grab a seat in our indoor dining room and enjoy a server driven experience! This reservation will be seated at a traditional table inside. Reservations at tables will receive their Temaki in complete sets. To guarantee the most crisp nori, each piece will be wrapped in a plant based wrapper that you’ll remove when you’re ready to enjoy! Please note, due to demand, we can’t guarantee that we’ll have the ability to move this reservation to a different table type or dining area.

I really enjoyed the decor, ambiance, and overall concept. The food was decent, though not exceptional—it’s Japanese-inspired but not authentic Japanese cuisine. Overall, it’s a nice spot to visit.

Always delicious. First time coming with kids and the girls loves it - can’t go wrong at Nami Nori. Everything is absolutely delicious

Delicious!!!! Everything from the corn ribs, tempura, shishito peppers…. The coconut shrimp temaki is my fave!

The churros were amazing. Everything is GLUTEN FREE and the rolls were so fresh. The miso soup was incredible

Incredible. Sitting at the counter is a must. Brunch menu is great. Great place for celiacs and vegans.

I had to change a reservation that was originally for four people to eleven for my boyfriend’s birthday. The general manager, Shelby, was incredibly helpful with this. Not only did she help me with a small, customized menu for our group that had an option named after the birthday boy, but she was communicative and accommodating with every detail of the reservation. Our server, Kate was amazing and the whole experience felt very special. I appreciate such outstanding service and will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Solid sushi, very sharp and modern ambiance. All of our food was fresh, tasty, and well presented. Attentive service, but it was a bit distant or cold.

Temaki signature set was mid. Crispy rice chips with spicy tuna dip was amazing. Sesame miso cookies were sweet!
