    This was our first time trying this place and likely our last. We went here for New Year’s Eve and although it had a prix fixe menu for the evening we decided to give it a try because the menu sounded delicious. After getting our amuse bouche and our first course which were actually quite delicious, we then waited over 40 minutes for our meal to come out. I knew that ordering a steak well done would have waiting consequences but this was way too long. Once the food came out we were extremely disappointed. The crab was beyond dry (there’s ways to keep crab moist and juicy or at least make them taste fresher). The potatoes and asparagus were bland and screwing up mashed potatoes is very hard. I understand this isn’t a steak house but that was one of the worst well done steaks I’ve had. Most places still manage to keep the meat juicy with some butter this place didn’t care. I do have to say that the server and management continuously apologized for the delay in getting our food. But the experience was made worse with the quality of the food. The service was pretty good otherwise.

    Wonderful NYE meal to ring in 2025! Filet Oscar was fantastic and all other dishes great as well! Good portion sizes compared to other places in Charlotte.

    Something seemed a little off at this place. We arrived at 6 for an early dinner and a hoped for early departure. The place was fairly empty and we indicated a desire to order quickly. We ordered a drink which came quickly but the food service was very slow. We did not receive our entrees until an hour after we arrived. We finally asked for the bill and an order of dessert to go. The dessert took another ten minutes even though we could see the person who needed to box the item who wan't very busy. Maybe this is the pace of this place. The food was great but be prepared to have a leisurely meal. We probably won't go back unless we have plenty of time.

    I guess it’s been renovated since I was there before but it’s extremely brightly lit. I felt like I needed sunglasses in the bar. Service was great, food was good but would be better if atmosphere were toned down a little

    My husband and I had another wonderful experience at Napa this weekend. It has been one of our favorites in Charlotte for years, and the staff, service and food were once again outstanding. We were particularly impressed with our server Jefferson. His kind and engaging manner paired with his attentiveness made our night out a joy. And the food was fantastic as always. The Old Fashioned and the whipped goat cheese appetizer were both wonderful, and my husband enjoyed his stuffed chicken as much as I enjoyed my Napa Salad with the succulent shrimp. Thanks to the management at Napa for continuing to lead a joyful, hard-working team who create both beautiful food and a beautiful atmosphere. We'll be back soon!

    We recently dined at Napa on Providence to celebrate my daughters’ birthdays, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely outstanding and incredibly fresh. I highly recommend starting with the Goat Cheese appetizer—it’s a must-try. The Mushroom Ravioli was divine, and the Beef Bourguignon was simply amazing. The staff took exceptional care of us throughout the meal, making the celebration even more special. We can’t wait to visit again! If I could give Napa more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommend!

    While I understand it was Christmas Eve and a special menu, I’ve never experienced this level of dining disappointment at Napa. I assume they must have been over booked and under staffed.

    This was a lovely way to spend Christmas Eve as a smaller family before we traveled out of town. The food was delicious!

    I went there with my family for my mom’s bday. The restaurant itself looked nice. We were very disappointed in some of our food. I ordered Steak frites; it was very chewy. My sister in law’s steak frites was more rare; she ordered medium. We couldn’t find our waitress. We had to ask another waiter to get her. She apologized & asked if we wanted anything else. It took a long time to get our food again. I really liked the quiche. My sister in law’s salad was sadly soaked in dressing. But she didn’t want to complain again. My mom loved the same salad & it was perfectly dressed. So, there are clear inconsistencies in the kitchen. My husband ordered the Bistro Burger. He liked the fries, but the burger was soaked in sauce. The bun got so soggy & he couldn’t pick the burger up. So he sent it back & just asked for more fries. Again we couldn’t find our waitress; the same waiter got her for us. I noticed another waiter bringing a different table a burger & it looked perfect. So this further makes me think there are inconsistencies in the kitchen. The manager came by & apologized for everything & comped my husband for his burger (only charged for fries). They comped my steak; only charged for my quiche. For dessert, my parents shared bread pudding; it was amazing. My husband & I shared chocolate mousse cake; it was amazing. My mom received a cheesecake for free for her bday; it was very bland & dry. I would’ve preferred her get a few dollars off her bread pudding. Overall, I wouldn’t go here again. I was very sad because my family came here in 2021 for dinner & it was amazing. I wanted my mom to have a special bday. Thankfully my mom really loved her salmon & her salad. But the clear lack of consistencies in the kitchen with quality of food makes it not worth it to me.
