Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

First, the service was excellent! Very much appreciate excellent service! Second, the food was excellent as well. The ambience was energetic for a Saturaday night. I highly recommend.

My husbands steak was over cooked but the manager took some money off the bill and was very accommodating. We had crab cakes for an appetizer and they were delicious. The sea bass and risotto was also delicious

Drew was the best waiter! He made wonderful recommendations and the food was amazing!! Everything was delicious! Napoli 2 had a cozy and romantic atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon!! Thank you Drew!!

Beginning with the Shrimp appetizer and chopped salads, our table of three shared three generous sides (asparagus, mac&cheese, and creamed corn) which sumptuously complimented our steaks. We then enjoyed cappuccinos, espresso and desserts. Each course was impeccably prepared and served by the highest quality service.

Dining here is like a close family experience. The food is superior and the staff is superior+. You cannot go wrong. I recommend without hesitation.

Our experience was not what we have come to expect from a Napoli restaurant. Our server tried hard and did a fair job. However, she apparently did not check out orders as my wife’s came out incorrectly prepared. While my wife’s meal was being remade I finished ny meal so it did not get cold, neither the manager nor the server offered to keep my dinner warm while my wife’s meal was bring re-made.our goal was to have a relaxing dinner together ended up having separate meals in a very loud restaurant. Patrons at the bar were loud and profane but the restaurant did not to ask them to keep their voices down and be considerate of other guests. Food quality was fair but not on par with other Italian restaurants in St. Louis. Our experience was very disappointing. It is not a location we would ho back to nor could we recommend it to others.
