Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

                                                                                            This is a special occasion. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday. Alex was our waiter. He was terrific, engaging, but not overbearing. Food was terrific. We had the Seabass, which is a staple on the menu. We also had one of the dinner specials halibut with a lobster sauce. Both are excellent!

                                                                                            Our server was great, nice ambiance and we appreciated being able to hear each other talking. The caesar salad was delicious but the shrimp and lobster scampi was rubbery and lacking in flavor

                                                                                            Another wonderful evening at Napoli 2. Service , as expected , was excellent. Out waiter was attentive and a special note of appreciation to the folks that bussed our table. They were spot on in clearing plates. I had the house salad and my wife had the beet salad, both were very good. For entrees, we both had chicken dishes. My wife had the Marsala and I had the parmigiana with a side of pasta in red sauce. The chicken dishes were flavorful and well prepared. The only downside was my pasta. Boxed penne bathed in , what tasted like canned sauce, was not up to expectations. The portions were generous and there are always leftovers for a later meal, except the pasta side. Overall, a wonderful way to warm up on a cold winter evening.

                                                                                            Excellent food and service by the waiter, table attendant and food servers. The waiter had an exceptional command of the menu. The ambience was loud and coupled with the smaller tables. It felt crowded, even when some of the tables were empty.

                                                                                            The service (Bree) was outstanding. Same with young man providing bread, water etc. Food was delicious. I ordered salmon with angel hair lemon & capers. There were 4 of us for dinner & all enjoyed. Also - everytime we eat here - everyone that works there comments as you come in or leave. Saying thank you for joining us this evening - hope to see you again soon. They all made us feel like they truly appreciate our business.
