We’re proud to say that we champion local produce and regional suppliers; from
Mermaid Seafoods here in Llandudno to Dolmeinir Meats, whose wares come direct
from the family farm on Anglesey. We bake our own bread every day, make each
and every sauce or accompaniment – the mayo, the bearnaise, the dips, the
chutneys – although we’ll own up to leaving the ketchup to the experts.

Loved this place and the food was delicious. All of us really enjoyed it with a good vibe and a relaxed atmosphere and a helpful waitress. Well worth the visit

Fantastic food, backed up by excellent drinks, including superb cocktails. The service was outstanding with an excellent waitress and waiter attending to our every needs. A tremendous place to celebrate a birthday and a great place to go at anytime

The standard of food here is excellent, you can order starter, main, sides and desert, as standard, or chose to order from the same menu as small plates. So me and my wife chose to order a selection of small plates and sides from the fish and seafood section. We had four in total along side two side plates. Scallops, Seared and served with a pea pur'ee petit poi's peas with fried pardons and pickled samphire, the balance of the sweetness of the peas, and salt of the lardons and light vinegary pickled samphire really complimented the sweetness of the scallops, there were four on the plate given us two each to enjoy. The other three where equally impressive. Salmon cured with beetroot and gin, a Poached Monkfish tail in a Thai style spicing and Crab, lemongrass and ginger cakes, they had a nice slightly hot bite from the spiced aioli. We chose the peas a' la francaise and Rosemary and garlic potatoes, as sides, so what's not to like there. We both finished with a sweet desert each, again each were very pleasing. The restaurant is clean and pleasant, service was very good too, the whole experience was a good one, and if we're back in Llandudno again, we wouldn't hesitate to come back here.

Food excellent, had 2 courses. Roast beef, and dessert, Bakewell tart. Wow wow and wow. Served and presented well. We will definitely be back again

Absolutely amazing experience start to finish. We had multiple small plates including the short rib which I strongly recommend! Lovely friendly staff and great atmosphere, we will be returning next time we visit Llandudno!

Fantastic food with such a variety of options. Especially enjoyed the monkfish and scallops. Would definitely go back but would probably ask for the dishes to be staggered so we could take our time. Absolutely no criticism just our personal choice.

Food was great. And the bill was lower than I was expecting Service was slow. We weren’t even given a menu for twenty minutes. Too few staff waiting in front of house

We were a party of three. Menu suggested between 6-8 small plates shared between 2 people. We ordered 4 small Fish plates, 5 small Meat small plates, tempura broccoli, black bomber croquettes, homemade bread and olives. We were served the fish dishes and other sides first (expecting the meat plates to follow) these were generally really good, the prawns were a bit over cooked. Expecting the meat dishes to arrive, our waiter then asked us if we'd like dessert. So they'd forgotten half our food order. We decided to not wait for the missing dishes and went straight for dessert. Two of us has the whisky crème brule, which didn't taste of whisky at all and came with a dry chewy shortbread. I ordered the brownie and the waiter bought me a cheesecake, which they promptly swapped for the brownie, which was dry and inedible. We had a negroni each, which were fantastic as were the two bottles of red wine we had with our food. We finished off with an Armanac each. Overall we all quite enjoyed it and would go back again. The service definitely needs to improve and some additional attention to detail is needed with some of the food dishes. This could easily be a five star dining experience with a few tweaks.
