                                                        We were left unattended for half an hour while staff had the lunch meeting. This should happen BEFORE there are guests! The waiter needs additional training as well

                                                        Each time we come to NYC we make a point of having dinner at Nice Matin. The food is very good and very French. The atmosphere is excellent whether we are inside or outside (in good weather).

                                                        The good news is the food was good and a decent value. We had an overall good time but our server had an attitude that was unmistakable the moment we sat down and only checked in on us once right before the check to see if we needed anything. We saw her at other tables treating them well so not sure what the issue was, but it was weird enough that we won’t be back.

                                                        Nice Matin never disappoints. A wonderful atmosphere - from the visuals to the sound level. Excellent service. Terrific menu with sensible food portions. This restaurant is always on the top of my choice list. And I travel in from Brooklyn. Brunch, lunch or dinner it is always a treat.
