Since the opening of their acclaimed Restaurant Nicholas in 2000, Chef Nicholas Harary and his wife, Melissa, modernized the concept of fine dining. This was our first time dining here and it certainly will not be the last. The wait staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! It was beautifully decorated for the holidays.

Very loud environment!!! Decor lovely but does not absorb noise. Everyone talking loud so their dining companions can hear the converation. Not suitable for catch-up get togethers.

Our first time here. Loved the creative menu. Raclette appt was killer. Halibut was dry but the mushrooms and greens side was yummy. We would go back.

Not very allergy of gluten friendly, drinks were 10/10 but kitchen wasn’t very appeasing with allergies just wouldn’t give you something rather than change or alter

I have eaten at Nicholas Barrel & Roost many times and have been very pleased in general. However, today was a bit of a disappointment as the burger was smaller than in the past and the sangria did not have any fruit at all in it which was contrary to the description in the menu. It was also louder than in the past which made it very difficult to talk with my lunch companion. I am guessing the music was louder because of the holidays but would have preferred it be turned down a little so we could hear each other The ambiance was lovely as always however and the waiter was very nice.

Another fabulous meal! Excellent service, as always. Love the ambience, and the holiday decorations are a great addition.

Overall great lunch great food...I was surprised to be charged for a refill on a Iced tea but it is what it is.

Food was overpriced Service was ok , felt rushed . We were still eating and bill was given . Drinks were watered down .
