   Don’t be surprised if this is the first San Antonio restaurant to get a well-deserved Michelin star. The food is equal parts innovative and delicious, the chef is generous with his attention and information, and the whole team is beyond accommodating, making an elevated evening accessible for everyone (dietary and physical restrictions be damned).

   The experience was unique, and the food was very innovative. I found the quality compared to price not worth the price tag. We also gave specific food preferences ahead of time (dairy intolerance, vegetarian). They acknowledged these preference at check in, but throughout the entire experience they were not taken into account. In fact we had to remind them at courses about our food preferences. For an experience that cost $300 (non-refundable), I found that to be a complete oversight by the restaurant. This felt like a one and done experience, and not something I would ever do again.

   The entire night was amazing. I had let the Nicosi team know that it was my wife and I’s anniversary and they made a special night even more memorable. The chef and owner were engaging with all the diners. It was great to be able to ask questions of the chefs about techniques used and inspiration that aided the development of their menu. Do not miss out on this unique culinary experience. Who doesn’t want dessert for dinner!

   Beautiful ambiance, fantastic service. Very cool vibe. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was a few items served were things I don’t care for like a course that was a carrot. It was too much sweet stuff and not enough savory to balance it out. It was just way too much sugary stuff for my palette. If they would do a menu where they incorporated more savory things it would work for me. If you have a total sweet tooth, this place is for you.

   Such a unique experience! I'm a pretty picky eater, but I ate everything. The chef described each course and how it was derived.
