Luxury takes root in the heart of Austin at Nido, bringing the charm of the area together with the culinary techniques of coastal Europe, all perched above Lady Bird Lake and the energetic cityscape.

Nido is located on the rooftop of The Loren at Lady Bird Lake - recently named by Conde Nast Traveller and Travel & Leisure Magazine as "one of the hottest hotel openings in the world." Nido nods to the surrounding and native Hill Country, giving diners a one-of-a-kind respite to experience worldly-travel through food. Nido’s selection of carefully crafted, seasonal menus are internationally-inspired with a focus on classical technique.

Reservations are available for inside the dining room and the dining tables in the bar. Lounge seating is available on a walk in basis in the bar and on the terrace for drinks and snacks.

We took the day off work to celebrate my birthday with lunch at Nido, and it was a fantastic experience! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the food was just as impressive. My husband ordered the burger, while I went with the BEC Sammy—and both were perfection. I couldn’t resist the Dessert Dove cocktail—it was so delicious I ended up having two! The fries with aioli were delightful, and the brioche was toasted to perfection. To top it all off, they surprised me with an on-the-house, deconstructed tiramisu for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our waiter was phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The only note I’d share is that since it’s December, it’s a bit chilly outside. They only had three heaters working, so we had to move to a table with a heater. It wasn’t a big deal, but it’s worth keeping in mind if the outdoor area gets busy. Overall, such a wonderful way to celebrate—I’d highly recommend it!

Very nice… valet parking is on the east side of the hotel, kind of tucked away. Very good view of the city, wait staff excellent. try the 4 scoops of gelato for dessert.

Excellent experience overall. We went for a Thanksgiving dinner. I would recommend it, and we plan to revisit this restaurant.

Loveeee this place. Food was fantastic and the service matched. The all-gender restrooms are also very nice and well maintained.

I would highly recommend the Thanksgiving dinner for anyone that doesn’t want to cook! Great for parents visiting or just you and yours.

I have hosted/cooked Thanksgiving dinner for many years. To say I was excited to take the year off is an understatement. I can’t think of one negative thing to say about our time and meal at Nido. We were greeted with kindness and our server Trenton did an excellent job! And the food! Oh my! Everything was so wonderful! I especially loved the soup and turkey! It was just a really wonderful experience.

We went for Thanksgiving dinner. The staff were amazing, friendly attentive. Our preset meal was amazing. I would definitely go back. The views were beautiful from the eighth floor looking over the Austin skyline.
