Great first experience and will definitely return! So many menu options, it was impossible to try all we wanted in our party of two. Lychee martini was light and refreshing. We liked the Brussel sprouts, cod and scallops with pasta. Wonderful service by all staff members.

I cannot say enough good things about the food and the whole restaurant’s vibes. This was our third time here and we love it. I will say this was a NYE dinner with friends and we felt very rushed, which is why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. We ordered a ton of food for the table to share and it came SO FAST and we were never asked if we wanted a second round of drinks by our server. All of us agreed that we felt rushed out of there. This was the first time I felt that way at Noka, but the food was divine, as always!

The food, wait staff, and ambiance were all terrific. The only down side was our table was located by the front door and it was drafty and very cold, which is why I give the overall experience just 4 Stars.

I was our first time at Noka, we just move to the area and our son was visiting us from NYC, the restaurant just blow our minds, the experience was incredible! We will be back and highly recommend.

The owner and chef, Amante, has done a phenomenal job in curating this menu which is off the charts. They employ the Japanese practice of dry aging fish, which makes the dishes, especially the sushi quite delicious. The bartender is world class and their cocktails are made with much care and attention to detail. The ambience makes you feel you’re somewhere in New York or San Francisco. I believe there’s a good value for the money which all in ranges from $75-$100 a head. I plan to return here quite often as it is one of the best dining experiences in Kansas City.

From the moment we sat down at the sushi bar we were amazed. The head chef was preparing sushi right in front of us. We talked to him most of the night as he prepared incredible creations. Every selection was fantastic and served promptly. The presentation was the icing on the cake! The staff was attentive and made sure our every need was taken care of. We will be back! PS …. Get the Matcha Martini!
