Serving up small plates such as haloumi a la plancha with fig jam, cioppolini onion candy, and skirt steak to name a few from our long tapas list at NoMa Social located in the Hotel NoMa. The dinner menu offers such items as wood-fired pizzas, paella, chicken scarpariello, and custom charcuterie boards. We actually did not get to eat at Norma that day because, although they accepted my reservation on OpenTable for noon on a Friday, the restaurant does not open until 3 pm. So it was closed when we got there and had to find a different place that could take us for our birthday lunch! We were quite disappointed in the restaurant - no one contacted us to tell us of their mistake!

Food and drinks were good. However the customer service was not. We had a 6:00 pm reservation for my sisters bday and as were were being seated we were told that they had another reservation at 8pm and they would need the table by then. Then the whole time the staff was moving furniture and decorations around. I think that type of stuff should be done before the restaurant opens. It was very distracting. Then we were constantly informed that the table would be needed at 8pm. For the fact that we spent $400.00 on food and drinks the customer service was not very good. We felt very rushed. If you are having a party than don't allow people to book dinner reservations.

Lunch was pretty basic, we didn't order anything fancy. The staff was exceptional.

We inadvertently reserved on line dancing night which was a bonus. I love to dance and it was a fun experience. The food is tasty, the sangria excellent. My only negative comment is that all five tapas dishes were served at the same time. I enjoy my food hot and of course this resulted in three of the five dishes not being hot.

The experience was really nice. Our intentions was a seated table dinner but was stuck at the bar. The drinks were amazing and the bartender was absolutely wonderful. We ordered off the happy hour menu and shrimp tacos, delicious! Then participated in Thursday’s Salsa lesson!
