Situated on bustling Northcote Road in London’s chi chi Clapham, Numero Uno is an Italian restaurant which delights locals and visitors alike. A typical neighbourhood Italian, Numero Uno is popular with businessmen and commuters during the week but at weekends fills with a more relaxed crowd of families looking for an unfussy dinner and groups enjoying each others company as they dig in to antipasti platters. An Italian wait staff make the Numero Uno experience all that more authentic, each of them moving from table to table, joking and conversing with diners as they take orders and make recommendations. A varied menu of Italian favourites, generously portioned, are followed by wonderfully decadent desserts and of course complimentary limoncello.

Fab meal on Sat night. Great atmosphere as was busy night but food was still great and service so friendly. Will be back soon!

Returned after too long, we had a lovely evening. carpaccio a crab and a beef both delicious. Followed by two very generous portions of calves liver, perfect.

Very good food and very good service for a birthday celebration. Especially good for being very reasonably priced, in particular deserts. Will definitely come again.

It was great to be back at Numero Uno. Not been for a few years. But won’t leave it as long again. My mum and I both had pasta - both dishes were delicious. And such a lovely team - some have been there for many years and it was great to see them again!
