Scruffy dog eared menus. Place a bit shabby. Over complicated long menu for what is basically burgers or ribs. Enthusiastic staff, but after all, it's just a burger joint and as it turned out not that good. In a virtually empty restaurant Incredibly slow service for a Chicken Caesar salad and a Burger. After 25 minutes wait we had to remind them. We hadn't ordered anything else. When it did arrive, the chips were soggy. Burger OK but nothing exceptional, Caesar salad was basic, and we thought the food overpriced for what it was and where it is. They volunteered to deduct 15% from the bill as apology for wait, but in this day and age this place needs to do much better. Talk is no substitute for decent food and service at a reasonable price.

There was no menus so we had to wait, my girlfriend had a warm pornstar martini. We ordered a hot dog without bread and the waiter 'Emily' questioned why we didn't want bread 3 times, making my girlfriend really uncomfortable about the fact she has IBS which is triggered by bread. On a brighter note the food was amazing apart from the impolite waitress we would definitely go back!

First visit to NYC at Bawtry for a Birthday celebration - nice themed bar/grill. We got a table upstairs which was nice. Would have given 5 stars for the food except they forgot the red onion which was listed in the menu as part of the Burger dish! We pointed it out and a side serving was brought. Our young hostess was very attentive and the best thing was we were not rushed during the meal. Price overall for the three of us was good. Will go back again - the Burgers and pulled pork was excellent as was the starter platter - food quality was excellent.

Went there for Father's Day, food was ok, chips were exceptional. Father got a free burger which was nice.

Fabulous food with great service! Staff are very attentive and drinks and food were delivered in a short time. Had our three year old with us and they really looked after her-she was able to go to the bar to make her own milkshake, which she loved and was given a balloon. Good was really lovely and good portion sizes. Highly recommend.

Amazing food but very poor service. Friendly staff but not enough of them. Waited 15 minutes for our drinks also asked for a dessert menu which never came In the end we asked for the bill which took 20 minutes to arrive

The first time i visited NYC, i was so amazed at the service and quality of food. My recent visit proved otherwise though. The service was mediocre, with the staff showing serious signs of inexperience. There seemed to be a lack of management on the dinining floor, meaning that orders were messed up more than once on our table and also on other tables as we heard across the room. I was very displeased and sent NYC a complaint email and they didn't manage to get back to me, but did manage to frequently post pictures on instagram and facebook, which agrivated me as it was clear i wasn't going to get a response and am being ignored. The first visit was great and i would have recommended it to anyone, but i am not so sure if i am willing to give this restuarant another chance, especially after the ignorance i have recieved. Overall, it is quality food for an acceptable bill, just not when service is so shocking. Maybe they were understaffed and having a bad night? I hope...
