O-Ku Atlanta provides a fresh and innovative take on traditional Japanese sushi and cuisine. The Midtown restaurant offers rare and unique dining options along with traditional sashimi and specialty rolls, sourcing seafood from the finest fish markets in Tokyo and Hawaii alongside local and seasonal ingredients. Reminiscent of traditional Japanese culture, O-Ku's menu is comprised of signature starters, contemporary Japanese entrées and seasonal traditional sushi that reflect the uniquely designed space. Located in West Midtown's Westside Ironworks development, the bustling restaurant is positioned on the east side of the main building and features a spacious rooftop and bar overlooking the Midtown skyline.

Valet was “full” yet a number of visible spots open, no apologies just “head to public parking”, took 20min to order appetizers so we went ahead and ordered mains also. Took 40 min to have anything dropped on the table, and never got our hand roll we ordered. Service was okay, clearly short staffed or something. Sushi was decent, nothing to rave about. For the headache getting in, and the long wait for food wouldn’t recommend.

I must say I was blown away, Jade was a vibe her knowledge and warm personality made our experience unforgettable, she took us on a journey that would make your taste buds dance, and I believe if there was no Jade the experience would’ve been not the same not to discredit anything but good service is hard to come by and this was great service. I also would like to thank Julian for his amazing attention to detail with the Happy anniversary on our menus with a subtle watermark absolutely beautiful thank you for making my seventh year wedding anniversary unforgettable.

Favorite sushi restaurant in Atlanta. The sushi is incredible but the service is even more amazing. Highly recommended!!

Our server was amazing! The staff was welcoming and very polite. The sushi -delicious. I highly recommend the Marbled Forest, it is a very tasty and unique roll. Nothing like I have ever had before.

We went for a 10 year wedding anniversary and they went so far as to print out Happy Anniversary on the menus as well as provided a Happy Anniversary dessert on the house 5 out of 5

Sushi was fantastic and the service was 10/10! We celebrated our wedding anniversary this past weekend and they made our dinner so special. They have really stepped up their game, we can’t wait to go back!

We had the BEST dinner and experience! I had mentioned that we were going to celebrate my son’s birthday on open table and that we needed 2 gluten free menus. They called me the day of our reservation and asked questions in regards to what my son’s favorite dish is or if there is a certain menu item that they could bring out as a surprise. They also asked about food allergies, and for the birthday boys name. When we were seated they presented us with menus that had happy birthday printed with our son’s name and age…what a special kind gesture! The food was incredible and our server Kaperton was fantastic! Kaperton answered ALL of our questions and even suggested a few items.

The renovations are nice, but the service was very slow. It took almost 20 minutes to get our bill after we told the waiter we were done. Spider crab in the roll was burnt and badly tainted the flavor. We’ve been to O-Ku many times and have never left disappointed. Restaurants can have bad night and I’d like to think this was just a speed bump. Will be back, but don’t want another $85 per person dinner like tonight.
