Cocktail (Dirty French) was delicious. Appetizers unremarkable. Ordered the cauliflower and carrots with ricotta and fig jam and it was cauliflower and carrots with a big scoop of ricotta with fig jam. I ordered out of curiosity and because I like these items individually and wanted to taste how the recipe would tie them together but it didn’t. There wasn’t any synergy of the ingredients. Ordered the “wedge” salad. Average tasting - nothing wowed us from the pickled onions that were bland in flavor to the blue cheese dressing which seemed commercial. Oh and it wasn’t a wedge but pieces of lettuce across the plate. Bronzino was average. Sauce was presented on the side (not by request) but unfortunately the sauce was extremely thick and did not pour over the fish- it was more of a blob. The cauliflower mash and side of spinach were both tasty. Also ordered the skirt steak which came sliced like we would use it to make a steak sandwich. The quality and taste of the meat was below average. We enjoyed the ambiance and the servers were friendly and attentive. The bus boy delivering the food made some minor mistakes (brought us food we didn’t order which was confusing and when he brought the correct food, he misstated the dish name which has us confused again). Seems this restaurant has potential if they try harder with the quality and preparation of the food and proper food descriptions.

Food was ok, nothing special. My husband ordered beer from the menu. They did not have the first two options and settled with whatever they have.

Great service and delicious food in a beautiful, relaxed setting. Had Tabitha as our server and she was extremely attentive and wonderful in every way.

Place was not full and it took 30 minutes to put in a drink order. Food order took another 20 minutes. Would have gotten many more cocktails and food but there was no time. The food was very good though.

We are new to the area and are in search of our favorite restaurants and Oak and Vine fell short. Despite the lovely atmosphere, excellent service and enticing menu, we were disappointed. First, regarding cocktails: the pour was poor, which was an indicator of what was to come. The clam special appetizer was delicious but came with two small pieces of sourdough bread. We requested more bread for that wonderful remaining broth and was informed of an extra $3 charge. You would think a special request of a few extra bread slices could be accommodated on a $125 dinner! The Linguini Di Mare was great but the Branzino was overly crispy with a skimpy portion of sides. Overall a pleasant experience but not excellent. The waiter, who was new, was a highlight.

We sat at the bar and the bartender couldn’t have been more attentive. The service was top notch. The food was very good. The octopus could have been tenderized a little more. Burrata was supposed to have heirloom tomatoes, but came with just regular Roma tomatoes and cherry tomatoes. I get it, heirlooms are out of season, but don’t keep it on the menu. Gnocchi was very flavorful but a little gritty. No espresso for the end of the meal so our bartender made espresso martinis. They were excellent. Overall, great date night. We will return.

We had a wonderful evening here and the food was delicious. I shared the tuna tartare with my husband -it was a good size serving, very fresh and with ripe avocado, there was just the right amount of sauce and the flavor was excellent. Two in our party had the salmon and were very happy. Two of us had the burger and found them to be perfectly cooked and delicious. The brioche buns and Gruyère cheese brought the burgers to the next level for me and the fries were crispy and perfectly salted. We didn’t get dessert. The service was very friendly but a little inexperienced. We had to ask for water refills several times. We appreciated the valet parking. We will be returning soon!

Somewhat disappointed. The food was average and nothing special. I wouldn't travel again to go there. The menu is limited and there were no dinner specials on a Saturday night. The service is spotty and the restaurant is manned by an inexperienced young bunch. Prices are on the high side and with your expensive entree there is no bread, but for $9.00 you can buy cornbread. We were a table of 6, so we spent an extra $18.00 on cornbread. Not everyone wants sweet bread with their meal. Desserts are limited and an espresso, which was less than an ounce, was $7.00. We are not complainers but we sent it back. Two sips for $7.00. My prediction is that Oak & Vine will go the way of Cedar Creek and every other restaurant that has been in this spot. On the plus side, the restaurant is nicely renovated, has valet parking, and the bar looked very lively although lacking in standard stuff such as Cointreau. Overall, I suppose it's good if you are local and feel like spending $16.00 on bread and coffee but definitely not worth the trip from Westbury.

Had a wonderful dinner here with my wife. Starting with the warm greeting from the hostess, the service was exemplary throughout. Our server, Patrick, was very helpful with the menu this being our first visit here. The food was very good, especially the Tuscan soup on special. Dining room beautifully decorated for the holidays. Had a quick word with the owner on the way out. Nice to see ownership out front on a busy night. Will return.
