Oak Steakhouse Charlotte presents an innovative take on the classic steakhouse. Located in the established neighborhood of SouthPark, Oak Steakhouse offers a modern approach to steakhouse dining, serving farm-fresh dishes alongside steakhouse classics in a mid-century modern environment. The menu highlights the restaurant's relationship with local farmers and purveyors. To complement the menu, Oak's expansive wine list features California Cabernet and Old World reds, including a selection of Italian and Spanish wines, as well as an array of artisan domestic wines. In celebration of Charlotte's growing brewery scene, Oak Steakhouse showcases local brews alongside domestic and international beers. Classic, seasonal cocktails are also on the menu.

                                                                                                  Waiter was able to set the scene for our celebration. We tried to order two apps, one of them they were out of. The waiter was not aware of the items they were out of, slightly unknowing the menu. The Mac and Cheese was not seasoned, not a pepper flake in sight. The cocktails were underwhelming. We ordered a Moscow Mule and a Mocktail adding Tequila. The waiter discounted the check due to the experience so that says a lot about acknowledging there was a problem, positive and negative. Overall, this would not be my first choice of recommendation to others.

                                                                                                  Our first time here for our anniversary and it blew us out of the water! Melissa was tremendous, personable and professional. The oysters, NY Strip, fingerling potatoes, brussel sprouts, and mac n cheese were spectacular. The crab cakes were the best crab cakes we’ve ever had! They gave us the Oak chocolate cake for our anniversary on the house and it was amazing. 10/10 recommend for food, service, and everything in between. We will be back soon!

Any problem we had was resolved immediately. The entire staff that we interacted with was very friendly as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and Aaron as your server.
