According to the Mercury News (2007), "The menu in the main restaurant is equally eclectic (compared to its wine lounge), with unusual dishes such as pumpkin borani, which features spicy peppers and garlic, and aushak, pasta filled with leek and cilantro and topped with garlic-yogurt sauce and sautéed ground beef, and simpler starters and entrees such as grilled salmon and beef, shrimp, lamb, and chicken kabobs. The owners have designed their menu to accommodate the palates of those who like spicier, more exotic dishes and those who prefer milder, well-prepared salads, vegetables, and grilled seafood and meat.” Come experience this treasure in Downtown Pleasanton in either the main dining room or our relaxing wine lounge.

Excellent food and Nancy was a very attentive, professional server. Our group of 9 never had to ask for anything- she anticipated our needs.

We sat outside for lunch, since the restaurant is dark and the day was lovely. My Greek Salad was mostly onions and peppers, and no lettuce. The salmon was tasty. Service was spotty and we had to ask twice for the check. No toilet paper in women’s restroom on a sleepy Sunday midday.

This is my first time at this restaurant and I will definitely be back. Our server was fantastic, the food was wonderful and it was a great atmosphere. Highly recommend for dinner in Pleasanton.

Overall, great location, great in-dining service, great ambience. Host/Hostess needs better training and empathy towards customers.

The food as always was excellent however the service was very uneven. Not my usual experience here so I'll hope it was a one off and not a predictor of things to come.

The main courses were could, except for the salad on the fish dish. The leaf veggies were wilted and the tomatoes tasted stale.

I scheduled a dinner for 10 people and it was a lovely experience for a business dinner. The food is excellent and there is a good variety for various palettes and vegetarians. Staff was gracious about accommodating some changes in number of people in the reservation, table was ready early. It is a bit loud, so keep in mind if you are having a large group event. Parking is tight in the area in general.
