OBC Kitchen is a local, chef-driven restaurant that houses an extremely rare bourbon collection, eclectic craft beer selection and extensive wine list. Centuries-old local barn wood surrounds guests as they enjoy high quality, distinctive dishes in a pub like atmosphere. Indulge in chef-driven dishes and seasonal favorites. Celebrate the weekend with $5 Happy Hour features each Friday. Enjoy brunch favorites, bloody marys and mimosas on Saturday and Sunday.

The passionate staff fosters a spirit of hospitality and Kentucky heritage. OBC Kitchen was named after the counties that eventually became Kentucky; “Old Bourbon County” was stamped on bourbon barrels that floated down the Mississippi from Kentucky and became synonymous with the best bourbon in the U.S.

Not our first time at OBC but tried new items. The burnt end appetizer was very good. The calamari was mostly crust and not much calamari. Two of us had the pork chop and mine had good flavor but was a bit overcooked and dry. It was served on a yucca mash that was very off putting because it was texturally a gummy paste. One person had the salmon and she said it was delicious except for the arugula that appeared to have no dressing. Our final diner had the red snapper special which he enjoyed. The bar serves a wide variety of bourbons and craft cocktails that are always very good. Our waiter was top notch.

Best cocktails and food in Lexington! We have never had a bad meal at OBC. Brunch and dinner are both amazing. They make the best amaretto sour I have ever had. You will not be disappointed!

Talk about a memorable culinary experience with expert service! I had the mushroom risotto and my husband the shrimp and grits. A perfect portion of delicate flavors and hearty seafood. Our friends chose the halibut and were most pleased. We literally were tickled the meals were so delicious cooked perfectly. Had an expert coffee martini and the chocolate pistachio dessert to finalize this delectable meal. Cozy and warm atmosphere served by master waiter, Truman. An ideal outing to toast our friendship!

Waiter knew the menu inside and out. He gave me a recommendation on the halibut and it did not disappoint. We don’t drink, and they had a nice selection of mocktails. Food was out quickly, prepared amazing and beautifully. We’ll be back.

My wife, son, daughter-in-law and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at OBC on a snowy Sunday morning. The roads weren't great, but we pushed through and were rewarded with fabulous food and delicious cocktails. Our server, Steven, was excellent. We ordered Creme Brulee French Toast, a breakfast burrito, a Belgian Waffle, and a full breakfast, (can't remember what that was called). No complaints! We hope to return the next time we are in the area.

Family Valentine’s Dinner and so glad we chose OBC. The bacon in a glass was too cool. The bacon had turned lardy. The cocktails, rolls, salad and pork chop were amazing! Our server was sooooo attentive. I wish I had her name. The carrot cake was just ok. We’ll definitely visit again!
