Had an early 5:00PM Saturday birthday dinner with another couple and loved the hip and happening vibe at Ocean 48!!! Oysters and crustaceans on ice surrounding the kitchen was a fun entrance. Music was great and the pool inside one wing of the restaurant would be fun to sit by next time but we had a great table at the far end and enjoyed people watching. We shared a salad and prime meatball appetizer, then loved the salmon as well as scallops with sides of baked potato with a ton of toppings on the side and awesome creamed corn! Outstanding. Expensive but more than enough when split. Waygu prime rib next time. Looked delicious! Nice wine and cocktail selection and they brought a beautiful chocolate layered cake with the birthday guy’s name in chocolate sauce on the plate was a classy touch. First class service!! Don’t miss the bathrooms as they have the heated seat Japanese toilets and modern sink hardware to die for 😄. We will definitely go back!

Crab and avocado plus tomato appetizer was the star of the meal. Also the antioxidant salad was perfect. Sadly the filet mignon was terribly overly salty for both of us....we could barely eat it but we did. The smoked cauliflower side was so bad after one taste we both couldn't touch it. Server was exceptional and realized we didn't touch it and took that one off the bill. Service overall was exceptional. Funny thing they have these fancy toilets which are nice and they provide some privacy. There is even an attendant that brings you to the toilets that are available. Unfortunately I was brought to in a toilet that was available but the fancy toilet didn't seem to do its job and flush for the prior guest. So much for technology 😂. Overall the restaurant is quite beautiful and has a nice ambience. However it was very cold outside and we were sitting by the window and the window was exceptionally cold. So both of us were quite uncomfortable during the dinner and cold I had to put on my jacket unfortunately my guest did not have her jacket. The music is a bit too loud and I consistently feel that the selections are too funky and have too much strong rhythm. I do think a restaurant like this should have something much more like soft jazz or more atmospheric lounge music to set the mood and the motif. I felt the same way last time and so did my guest.

Top notch! We’ve been five times since they opened three months ago Literally perfection across the board every time. Best steakhouse bar none.

Great place much better then the original Slippery flors my girlfriend in heels almost fell And myself when I was pushing the chair back it went forward with my body weight on it. The place was 50% capacity and the service was slow for a place of this caliber. Food 10/10 amazing everything
