At Ocean Blue we take our food seriously, but not ourselves. We are inspired to create a dining experience where our guests feel welcome and at home in our inviting setting to enjoy quality food, and warm hospitality. Borrowing influence from our most favorite era and styles, Ocean Blue’s interior boasts a mix of elegant black and white décor, a large copper bar, and floor to ceiling windows that offer a panoramic view of our city. Perhaps the most striking feature is our vast, open kitchen that allows guests to watch the culinary team in action, preparing our signature dishes. We cook the food, and craft the drinks that make us happy, and we want to extend to you the same feeling. Great service, great food and great drink is not enough. We create an experience. I always get so shocked to see such high ratings for this place when every time I hear people talk about it, it's always negative. The drinks are great, but the food is such a disappointment. The place has gone dramatically down hill since they first opened. Corn beef Hash yet all the meat provided was just slabs of fat. Any good chef knows with corn beef hash, it's small chunks of beef with the fat removed. The cheesecake was delicious, but the famous butter cake is always rock hard now? Might just be an overheating issue. For drinks? Definitely! Food, no.

Wonderful lunch. The NE Clam Chowder was phenomenal and loaded with clams, focaccia app was great, fish sandwich super tasty and fresh. Our waiter, John C, was attentive and great too!

New Year’s Eve dinner celebration. Received a friendly welcome by the hostess, seated quickly and was greeted promptly by our server, Emma. Food was delicious as were the drinks. Bar staff are exceptional…friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Overall the dinner was exceptional rooted in positive and up-beat staff from all departments.

Wonderful dinner and amazing food as always and great decorations to enjoy NYE. We had calamari and caeser salad to share, the. Lobster roll and lobster ravioli and creme Brûlée and cappuccino to finish. Loved everything.

Our first visit to Ocean Blue was amazing! The ambiance was beautiful, and the food was outstanding. We enjoyed the ahi tuna, lobster ravioli, and filet mignon—all perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The cocktails, (Morning Wood and Hugo Spritz), were delicious and added to the experience. This is easily one of the best restaurants in Utica, and we can’t wait to go back!
