Opening December 21, 2024, Ocean Prime is a nationally acclaimed, dynamic seafood & steakhouse from the award-winning Cameron Mitchell Restaurants located in the The Quay Sarasota. Ocean Prime delivers an elevated experience with exceptional ambiance, a chef-curated menu, signature handcrafted cocktails, Wine Spectator honored wine list and genuine hospitality. Reservations are recommended. Ocean Prime strives to provide an elegant, fine dining atmosphere. Our associates’ priority is to ensure your experience is memorable.     Cool vibe. Loud in dining room. Try to sit outside on the patio where it’s quieter. Entrees about $55 each. Ordered the grouper with gnocchi and lobster. Too heavy on the cumin spice and gnocchi nowhere to be found. Didn’t feel the value. Great cocktails though. Valet parking is $10 plus they ask you to pay on the app and charge $1.00 for using a credit card. Felt cost for parking was excessive. Probably would go back for cocktails and cold seafood only.

    Excellent service and food - just the way Ocean Prime runs. Joe was an excellent server. Very noisy in all parts of the restaurant - acoustics are very poor. Try to sit outside.

    This was the 5th night of being opened, a Friday between Christmas and NYE, and nothing felt like they were still getting their bearings. Everything was as you would expect a highly end restaurant to be after being open for years, excellent. The valet staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, but I didn't see any other option for parking, so I'm guessing others did not either. Food, service, drinks, and ambiance were perfect. Can't wait to go back.

    Service was excellent but The acoustics were awful. Hard to hear the server or hold a conversation at our table. We were seated in a half circle booth. Food was very good as well.

    Service - Marissa was our server-she was spot on recommending several items, such as the ocean roll, filet, and the carrot cake. She was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Her assistant also did a great job - didn’t get her name.

    First time dining at Ocean Prime SRQ. This location has been open for only a few weeks and they have done an outstanding job with the the food and service in such a short time.
