First time diner at Ocean Prime and we were blown away. Great vibe, wonderful atmosphere, food was awesome, and Christine our server did nothing but enhance our experience. Can't wait to return.

We were sat in the 2nd floor prime room. There were two groups of 10 and is. We felt like we didn’t belong. The greeter who sat us, walked us through the bar/serving zone and it didn’t not give a great first impression. It was hectic and loud. Then to be taken to what felt like a conference room was not ideal. The drapes were drawn so we had no view of the Bay. Servers were EXCELLENT. Not a great first impression overall.

First impression of atmosphere was positive, however, difficult to park and valet costs $15. Our server was excellent, but the food was uneven. French onion soup was some of the best I have ever had, but my grouper was overcooked. My husband had strip steak au pourer and it was very good, cooked nicely and tender. We ordered a side of au gratin jalapeño potatoes. Don’t waste your money! The peanut butter chocolate dessert was great. Overall apps and dessert was best. Worst thing was the NOISE level!!! We could hardly talk at our table with the banging music and the noise from the upstairs bar. We tried it, but there are much better places to dine in downtown Sarasota.

An amazing first time expierence for several in our party last night. Our server was attentive, food and drinks were amazing! Will be back soon to celebrate a birthday! Many thanks!

We had a great experience tonight. We came here for our 25th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint!! The food was amazing and our server Austin was wonderful!! He was very attentive and explained everything so well! The Snapper and Lamb were phenomenal!!

Excellent meal at Ocean Prime in Sarasota. Professional level service. Very nice outside covered patio seating. But very expensive - as a. Example: $56 for grouper - came with polenta but nothing else.
