The dome-shaped venue on the Hoe, aptly named The Dome, was designed by architect Tony Irish. The Dome was first opened in July 1988 as part of Mayflower commemorations in Plymouth and started life as a local museum and tourist information centre.

Designed to have the Art Deco feel and opulence of a 1930s ocean liner, the venue’s bar will feature an extensive wine and gin list, a selection of cocktails plus a full range of beers, ciders and soft drinks.

The restaurant’s menu will feature fresh, local and seasonal produce and will include fish sourced from local day boats. We will also be offering traditional afternoon teas.

There will be opportunities for private dining, small weddings and business meetings – all set against a spectacular ocean view backdrop!

    Staff molto cordiale. Tavolo in ottima posizione, appena all'ingresso della vetrata con vista sull'Oceano. Piatti ottimamente presentati e decisamente buoni

    Such a lovely breakfast. The service was great- Michael was so friendly and attentive! The food was lovely! And view was amazing. Would highly recommend.

    We were well looked after, despite the late arrival of most of our party! We were not hurried or made to feel as though it was a problem. The meal was reasonably priced and all of our party enjoyed the food and the dining experience.

    Lovely location, tasty food, although food could have been warmer. Staff friendly, happy and polite. Not a fan of the plastic water glasses on the tables

    Delicious food. The pork belly was glorious. The waiter was kind, polite and always attentive to our requests. The reservation was easy and the restaurant was less than a half full, so we could get a table by the window. Ambience was quiet and warm. Cocktails were good as well. Tiramisu was too creamy for my taste but not too sweet. We would come back for another special occassion.

    Normally a lovely place to eat but unfortunately we all had apart from one a Sunday roast at 1700 and was clearly left overs from lunch, potatoes hard, meat tough and yorkshires burnt, Staff were lovely and did apologise. The one who had a burger said it was lovely as was our starters and puddings which was clearly cooked or cut to order
