Oda House Offers authentic Georgian cuisine and natural wines. A liberal use of spices, kebabs, khinkali (oversized meat-and-cheese dumplings), mtsvadi, khachapuri (Georgian cheese bread) and adjaruli (Cheese boat) typify the kitchen’s preparations. But, more classic dishes may reveal satsivi, or boiled chicken, served cool in a warmly spiced and seasoned walnut sauce, accompanied by gomi. Oda House uses mostly fresh and organic ingredients sourced from local farms. Menu has plenty of vegan and Gluten-free choices.
Maia Acquaviva, managing partner and executive Chef of Oda House, brings Georgian cuisine and a dose of Georgian culture and pride to NY. The passion she had from an early age to cook blossomed. Maia said, “Words cannot fully express how grateful I am for the opportunities that have been presented to me.” Her life motto is: If you want something with all your heart, the entire universe mobilizes around you to make your wishes come true!

                                                                              I had never eaten Georgian food, so I didn’t know what to expect at Oda House. Now that I tried it I can only agree with my husband who asked as soon as we left, “When are we coming back?” Everything was wonderful from the dumplings to the Borsch soup, a plentiful salad, wonderful Chanakhi, a lamb with eggplant, tomatoes, onions. Perfectly spicy, but not hot. My husband ordered the Kubdari, “Organic chopped beef, onions, herbs & Georgian spices baked inside yeast dough” and not only was it very good, but it was a huge portion, for two, even three people. The portions are generous plus. The service super attentive. UPDATE- we retuned for brunch. Had the Oda House eggs with their super Georgian bread. You can choose four ingredients from a selection. I recommend it. Oda House is now in our list of favorite restaurants.

                                                                              We made a last-minute reservation just so they knew we were coming. I was so impressed that they had set up a table for us already! As usual, the food was delicious. We tried a few new things (so good) and some of us had wine which paired very well with our food selection. Oda house never fails me!

                                                                              Great cuisine, authentic. Personnel is very friendly and delicate. The Barman is dressed in authentic Georgian garb and reminds the character from Pirosmani pictures. Highly recommended. Will go there again and again. Love the food and ambience.

                                                                              The woman barista/?manager was extremely rude throughout our stay - from the moment we walked in and asked to sit down in a different room to the service questions that she refused to answer or would roll her eyes to. The other waiters were very pleasant and the food was well done.
