   We used to love Odla. Food was always amazing, service was stellar, friendly staff etc. I considered it one of the best in the city. Went last night for the first time since last year. Wow have things changed. 1. Ambience is still nice. 2. Waiter not so great. Talked us out of selections. Seemed like we were rushed out. 3. Food was sub standard compared to what it used to be. Food was cold, portions smaller especially for the price, and lack of selection. My $45 short rib was cold and chewy, my daughter’s gnocchi was tiny, and the shoe string fries had the consistency of actual shoe strings. They also used to have a simple burger or chicken burger for kids, good option when you take the younger guests. Our waiter said they haven’t had that for over 2 years when asked. My kid literally got it last summer and loved it. 2. Drinks were over priced for a tiny glass with a lot of ice. And refills of pop for the kids were $4 each! To summarize it was a $250 bill at the end for 2 adults and 2 kids and we were all still hungry. If it was the quality was what it used to be I’d wouldn’t even complain. BRING BACK THE OLD ODLA!!

   Odla has become our favourite spot in Saskatoon. The tasting menu and pairings are carefully and expertly presented. The service was friendly and informative overall. We did have a few items that we had enjoyed from our previous visit in December which we enjoyed (braised short rib...mmm) and some new items (gnocchi with blue cheese, bacon, and pear) that pleased tastebuds. This is little bigger investment than a typical meal out, but well worth it. Thank you.

    We had the four course tasting menu and I chose the wine pairing as well and it was amazing! The portion of food was beyond generous with so much to try, and all prepared perfectly. The wine pairing really took it to the next level as it was such great and unique wine that is not widely available. Def recommend!
