Consistently delicious food. We highly recommend Sotottera (salad), Eggplant Parmigiana, Lasagna Bolognese, Cacio e Pepe, Calamari Fritti, Spicy Salami Pizza, Chocolate Mousse, Tiramisu, and the Papardelle Bolognese.

Our dining experience at Officine Buona Forchetta was wonderful as usual. The wait staff are friendly and courteous. The food is delicious and reminds us eating in Italia. We love every time we come to this restaurant.

Came on a Thursday night and had reservations. Food was tasty and came out fast which was awesome, but at the hour mark of our dinner, food plates we were still eating from were asking to be cleared, and at a half glass of wine left each, we were told we had “5 minutes”. Given, the place was very empty because of the rain and we were the last table. But, for a $160 dinner, it was off putting to be rushed in this way. We were waking out by 9:24 from an 8:15pm reservation. First and last time at this place due to not feeling like a valued customer.

I rated service with 5 stars because they had only one person serving the entire outdoor area which is many, many tables but even so, our server was awesome though highly in demand. We waited quite a long time to have our final order taken (not her fault) but she was great and the folks bringing the food out (quite promptly in fact) from the kitchen were efficient and pleasant!!! Ambience was rated 4 but only because the outdoor area is not going for ambience - rather space expansion with an outdoor feel. The food was OUTSTANDING and the value (honestly at even higher prices) is excellent! Everything we ordered was excellent! I highly recommend Officine Buona Forchetta for your next authentic Italian cuisine!

Been to other locations many times - Encinitas and South Park. Always enjoyed it. Liberty Station was a huge disappointment. Server came to the table only once - to take the order. Never checked back in. Food was cold, pizza soggy, no opportunity to order more drinks. Noise level is crazy sitting outside. Between loud music from the bar next door to the airplanes to their own music - just not a great experience in my opinion. Recommend diners check other BF locations (or other Italian restaurants).

This particular location has a very mediocre service. The place wasn’t even busy when we got to the restaurant. Our server didn’t even look at us while taking an order. I was given a knife with dried up food particles on it, Gross!!! Tried it will never go back!
