Offshore is a bright and airy rooftop bar open year-round on the third floor at the East end of Navy Pier. With collapsable floor to ceiling windows you get sweeping views of Lake Michigan and Chicago’s city skyline. Our globally inspired menu features items from coast to coast that include light to substantial fares.

Outdoor seating is not guaranteed! It is on a first come first served basis.
21 years of age and older after 9pm daily.
The last reservation is one hour before closing.

                                            Offshore Rooftop was a wonderful experience. On top of the beautiful views, the service and food were outstanding. I would highly recommend.

                                            It is a very cool location with beautiful views. The food for a bit uninspired and not cooked to correct temps (soup cold, potatoes raw). I would definitely come back if I just wanted a drink, I would probably not stay for dinner.

                                            My partner and I went for a date during chicago restaurant week and it was absolutely stunning. Wonderful ambience, all off the servers were so friendly and went above and beyond for us, and their restaurant week menu was utterly delicious (my partner and I will be thinking about that lobster bisque soup for a while!) And everything was cooked to perfect. Would absolutely return again, especially during restaurant week :)

                                            There were maybe 3 tables full in the whole restaurant. Our server was very slow and wasn’t clearing dishes between courses. Our reservation was at 7:30p. We were unaware they closed at 8p on a SATURDAY NIGHT. They turned on the lights and turned off the music to try and hurry us out. When you are spending $250 on dinner for two I would’ve appreciated not being hurried out. We didn’t even finish our bottle of wine it was at over half full when we left. Could be a cool spot in the summer. But we won’t be back. OH and they didn’t give us a restaurant week menu - they told us to use what open table had???

                                            I went to Offshore for Restaurant Week prior to going to see a play. The waitress was nice but she wasn’t really dressed in attire that would let you know she wasn’t the waitress. We ordered options from the restaurant week menu. The lobster bisque came out cold. There was hair in one person’s food. The ambience is better in the summer when it’s bright but it was super gloomy and they still had Christmas decorations up. The manager did take $100 off our total bill without us asking so that was good. I recommend going during the summer months; my experience was better then.

                                            My husband and I had a quick bite before heading to the Shakespeare Theater. We ordered the Thai chili cheese curds and the prosciutto flatbread. The Thai Chili cheese curds were out of this world! A must order! Overall, we had a great experience with the service, food and ambience. We should spread the news about this gem at Navy Pier!

                                            This was the second year that I’ve taken my wife to Offshore Rooftop and we still had an amazing time. Definitely gonna revisit again. Our waitress Lori went above and beyond for us. Thanks for another awesome dinner.
