   We were so excited to go because of the reputation for Machetes but everything except the drinks were not good. The food was under-salted and lukewarm, our waitress hardly ever checked up on us and never asked if we even enjoyed what we were having, and the price was ridiculous. I’m extremely disappointed in the entire popup experience I had here.

   This was my second visit to this restaurant—my first time was in the summer when I sat outside, which was absolutely lovely. This time I dined indoors, and it was just as nice. The staff was friendly, attentive, and present without being overbearing. They’ve introduced a new menu, which is a bit limited. Honestly, if I had looked it up ahead of time, I might have chosen a different spot—but I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and well-executed the food was. The concept is family-style with smaller portions meant for sharing, which worked well for me. However, if you have a big appetite, you might find yourself ordering quite a bit, which could add up. Every dish was full of flavor. I’m still not sure how I feel about mackerel as a main course, but cheers to them for being creative and trying something different. All in all, a lovely experience—

   Really inspired wine list, an owner with passion and vision combined with an exciting chef and great casual ambiance. Every dish and wine hit the spot. Truly great cooking with beautiful produce. The service went out of their way to give us a great night. And that winelist, wow great focus on outstanding German producers! Some even hard to find in Europe, you find then here very well priced! But also more then enough other exciting bottles from Oregon to Styria. If you are a winegeek in Portland, visit OK Omens! (Also if you just love great food and friendly people)

   First time visiting, very pleased with the overall experience. All the food and drinks we had were great, ambiance was nice, and service was on point. Will be back.

   The absolute best meal I’ve had in a very long time. Outstanding food, service, and wines. Truly everyone that works here deserves a forehead kiss.

   Service was a little off … wine was good and the food was good but it seemed they just weren’t prepared for the $1 oyster HH so there was a lot of time in between dishes. We ordered a few dozen oysters and we were told by our server she wasn’t going to put it in bc the kitchen was overwhelmed with oyster orders… but like that’s weird right? Anyway, it was fine but prob won’t do it again.
