Welcome to Októ, where Mediterranean flavors and vibrant ambiance converge. Named after the Greek word for "eight," Októ offers an upbeat atmosphere with a jazzy bar featuring exclusive spirits. Our menu, crafted by Sof chefs Yotam Dolev and Hai Avnaim, showcases innovative, nutritious dishes inspired by Greece, Spain, and the Levant.

Guests can enjoy a seasonal selection of approximately a dozen shareable plates, reflecting the rich culinary traditions of the Mediterranean. Complementing the food, our bar serves a curated wine list and a range of classic and creative craft cocktails.                                         Overall, the food was good. My guest and I did expect more of a Mediterranean menu. We thought the menu was lacking. I ordered the Denver cut and thought it would have a side with it. My mistake was that it did not, and it was too late to order a side once I received the steak. The steak was tender and seasoned well. The bread as an appetizer was excellent.

                                        We could not hear each other, nor our dinner guests. Noise ricocheted from ceiling directly to us. We could hear the tables around us from the sides and above. We ended up finishing early so we could get outside and hear each other. Like most modern restaurants, investing in sound dampening fabrics and ceiling tiles would help immensely. Food is very good, decor is beautiful. Will not be coming back unless we can get a reservation on the patio.

                                        Having dined out so much, I’ve realized I’ve taken it for granted. Októ is not just another restaurant, they are giving you an experience. Sit, enjoy, relax, be in the the moment. We found it to be exceptional. Enjoy.

                                        The octopus is probably the best in Houston, very tender! The seabass was prepared perfectly and complimented the risotto! Ambiance is a bit loud, if you prefer a quieter experience then sit in the bar or on the patio. Omar made our experience great and we will be back!

                                        It was my first time to Okto, and I will definitely return!The chraime dish with bronzino was divine and we shared several of the appetizers, which were all delicious. And to top it off, our server, Elonn was so friendly and helpful and attentive, and it was just the cherry on top to a an incredible meal!

                                        Our server was personable and very good but he appeared spread too thin among the patrons. He did a remarkable job considering his circumstance. He was amazing at getting all our orders correct although our drinks didn’t arrive until after some of our appetizers had been consumed. The food overall was hugely delicious with the exception of the tuna tartare, which paled relative to our other dishes.
