With 40+ years of experience under his belt, he does not fail to deliver the absolute best product that not only speaks for itself but is highly decorated. In 2024 alone we have 4 top tier awards from Double Golds to Double Platinums with multiple spirits in each category. Barrel aged in the heart of Fort Collins, our tasting room showcases not only the Old Elk product but also harbors some of the best mixologists and food offerings around. In house made syrups and highest quality spices make for coveted curated cocktails and mocktails. Our tasting flights go through the Old Elk branches of whiskey, vodka, gin, bourbon cream, and flavored whiskies. We can also tailor to the most sophisticated of whiskey drinkers. Our kitchen boasts unique options to pair with our spirits. From deviled egg and pickle plate appetizers to Elk burger and steak mains.

We really enjoyed tasting both of the whiskey flights. Lots of good whiskey and we enjoyed our server and the food. We will definitely come back.

We went for a new experience on Valentine’s Day. Food was great. Tried a couple of whiskeys with recommendations from our server. It’s a beautiful place and was just right for a nice yet casual dinner. Their gin is fantastic! Bought a bottle and took it home.

One of our meals was cold- waitress was rude, not her fault it was cold, when manager came over he was worse- made excuses and was a complete jerk. Do not recommend

Awesome drinks. Didn’t like the fake out on the closing of the tasting room. But the bourbon is delish and so is the staff. Food is good for a bar.

Disappointing Experience All Around From the moment we walked in, it was clear that service wasn’t a priority here. We had to ask for basic essentials like silverware, napkins, and even plates. Our appetizer arrived alongside our main course, and despite requesting ranch dressing when we ordered, we had to ask three different people before it finally arrived. Our waiter never checked to see if we wanted additional drinks, and we had to request water refills multiple times. The restaurant wasn’t busy enough to justify the level of neglect we experienced. And the charcuterie board? An absolute disappointment. For $30, we got Chex mix and a handful of water crackers—not exactly what you expect for that price. If you’re just looking for a spot to grab a drink at the bar, this might do the trick, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything more.
