The Old Stone Farmhouse is an award winning, fine dining restaurant. Set in a wooded valley close to the 11th hole of the Mahogany Run Golf Course, this restaurant is located in a 200 year old restored field house on the lush countryside of St. Thomas.

It was created as a stable for a nearby Danish sugar plantation, and the walls are more than 2 feet thick. Ceiling fans and breezes blowing through the valley keep the place cool.

The building’s distinctive character is shown with native stone walls, original hardwood floors, brick arches, and a charming covered palm-lined courtyard. The restaurant features "Chef Inspired" fine dining in an intimate and elegant atmosphere. The cuisine is ingredient driven and will change with each season.

The Old Stone Farmhouse is one of the most romantic and elegant dinner settings anywhere, offering old-world charm and a second-to-none dining experience. Personalized attention makes dining here a delight.

                                            This has been for a long time, and still remains, the top place to go for dinner in St. Thomas. The setting is amazing- as the name suggests- an old stone farmhouse with exposed stone walls, hardwood floors, and beautiful open windows and doorways. Don't think of "farm house" as being some run-down place. This place looks like a palace on the inside, and the combination of wall sconces and overhead lighting makes for a great romantic setting. The food is amazing, the wine list is excellent, and the service matches. This visit was just date night with the wife. It's where we go for our special dinners. Also an excellent place to talk business- very low classical background music as opposed to the loud music found at many other places. You can easily carry on a conversation.

                                            They brought out a spoonful of soup to try cold raspberry coconut something - terrible The fondue was average as was the grouper We got bit up by mosquitos Ambience was the only thing very good

                                            Limited menu but very good food. My kids had chicken and said it was to their liking. They're picky. I had the steak which was also good. Service was fine/pleasant. Forgot my appetizer but no big deal. Restaurant was virtually empty the night we went so ambiance was somewhat lacking, but the veranda was well filled. To be expected in the off season... a good dining experience overall. Recommended and we will be back.

                                            Amazing food! Service was impeccable as was the food. The atmosphere was very romantic and quiet. Great cocktails as well. The fondue was outstanding and the chickenI got was cooked perfectly. Waitress was very friendly and outgoing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone going to the St Thomas area for vacation. Try it and you will not disappointed!

                                            We travel from the U.S. Mainland and always schedule a night at the Old Stone Farmhouse. We try to bring new friends there every time we visit and they come away saying the same thing, "Best meal in the islands". Love the atmosphere and general vibe at this gem.

                                            Thoroughly enjoyed a birthday dinner in this beautiful restaurant. Great service, romantic ambiance, and a well prepared meal made for a perfect evening. We arrived early and enjoyed sampling the bartenders creativity! Our thanks to Beaumont for making this birthday really special.

                                            Great atmosphere for this hidden gem. While not easy to find in the winding roads of St. Thomas, it is worth the adventure. I dined with 3 others and we all shared bites of many of the plates. The potato cake was crispy and the roumelade that was served with it was great (though I could have used more). The tuna special in dash broth with corn was nice, as was the lamb with cous cous. Even better was the pork chop with bacon, sweet potato, and spinach. Surprisingly, the star of the meal was the chicken. An airline breast, perfectly cooked and moist inside, served with hen of the woods mushroom, gnocchi, and parsnip and goat cheese puree. A very nice wine list is offered, as well. Service was great, and not rushed at all. The flourless chocolate cake with bourbon ice cream and caramel drizzle was delicious, as was the lemon sabayon over berries and fruits and slightly torched was wonderful and light. Don't miss this place on your trip here.

                                            Owner/management are to blame. So under staffed we left. The wait staff did all they could and I can't fault them. Very disappointing as the we had a great experience on a previous trip.
