Absolutley the worst dinner I’ve had in 30 years. It’s my fault though. I should have realized that running a half price wine promotion for all of January is only done when the restaurant is already failing. Awkward from the second we walked in and were greeted by a young man clearly with no clue what he was doing. Later find out he was the sommelier (there are only 20 bottles of wine on the list. Sommelier?) nice server who left half the foil on our wine over the opening and broke the cork in half. Awful food with ingredients not listed on the menu. Vongole classically explained then served with some king of tomato water. Carbonara swimming in butter, no pecorino, no black pepper. Dried out pork shank. Sent all of the mains back then presented with a $150 bill for “what we consumed”. Clearly nobody of any authority working. Just another hedge fund investor burying money so they can tell their friends they are “owners”. I’ll take the tax loss when it goes under. After many words with the manager, left and went to Old Ebbitt grill. Thankful for professionals who run a great business and care about what they do. Salvaged the night and excited to see what new restaurant moves into the Olio space in two months.

My significant other and I had a great experience celebrating her birthday. Julio did very well attending to us despite it being his first day on the job. He was great and the food was also great!

Extremely overpriced. Terrible portion sizes. I could make better of everything we tried at home.

Food was delicious and our servers were amazing! It was a little loud in there so it was hard to hear. The decorations were also beautiful. Loved the festive look!

The best part of the experience was selecting wine with the GM Jeremiah. He was extremely knowledgable. His descriptions of the wines were extremely descriptive and engaging. His enthusiasm for wine excited my guest and I. In fact, he was leaving out for the night and came back to ensure we selected the best wine for our experience. I highly recommend dining here. Great service, great food and great ambiance!

I do not do reviews unless a place is really amazing or had a significant factor that affected my experience. For my whole party, this was service: 2/5 for large parties. To preface, I called before my reservation to info them this was for my birthday and that I wanted to bring a cake even table decoration. I was told I would need managerial approval for table decorations, so I declined. I was told I would be charge a flat rate fee for bringing a cake and asked if there was a pre-person slice charge, I was told yes to flat rate cake fee and no to slice fee. Day of, the manager tells me there is a fee and that they no longer hold cakes in the fridge as I am beginning my dinner. This seemed to confuse our server as he tried to take the cake to the fridge and he was stopped abruptly by the manager, I’ve been there twice before and they offer bread free for the first round. The server continued with an attitude. We saw him a total of 4 times without us calling him over to bring us water, to take our appetizer orders 30 min after we had been seated (7:50 seated) and to give us the check. He seemed rushed and bothered by us all night. We had to call him over repeatedly to get our entree orders taken and he didn’t come over even when an order was wrong or to check on the food. All in all it seemed as though, we were a difficult party from them over the discussion of the cake fee discussion (w/ manager and she said they would cover the fee since I was misinformed by customer service agency in new york after showing her my call log), we paid the check and no free cookbook. The waiter, Neo, barely wanted to help us serve the cake since the cake fee was covered. All in all their atmosphere is poor to large diverse group settings. I should have read the other reviews about dining here for a special night before dining here for a special occasion. The food is good enough, but don’t come here for a special occasion.

My partner and I have been dying to try this place. We love Italian food and have gone to a few other restaurants and wanted to see how this was… I made reservation a head of time which I’m glad I did. It was 8:30pm on a Thursday we arrived and barely were greeted by the host. She then sat us at a two top by the window, and let me just say it was very small, I couldn’t even hang my jacket on the chair because it dragged on the floor. So basically had to hang it over the chair and sit on it. It was very crammed in that location. I kindly went and asked her to seat us at one of the half booths, she seemed very annoyed by my request and said there aren’t any available, mind you the entire back dinning room was free with only two tables occupied. I thanked her and sat at our table, few minutes later she came and asked if we wanted to move which we did and sat in the back by the kitchen. I made sure to not let this affect our experience and glad I did. The service (sorry I forgot his name) tall gentleman with a black beard he was so kind and sweet and told us everything we needed to know about the place, the history and the food. My partner got the Ribeye and I got the Pollo, and we got Caesar salad and calamari for appetizers. Best best best Italian I have ever had, we ended with the tiramisu which is my favorite. I was in heaven and very happy with the food and our kind server who made it all such a wonderful experience. I truly can’t wait to go back again, minus the host. If you haven’t tried this place it’s a must… truly authentic Italian.

This restaurant was amazing! We had the calamari and the fusilli and it was so delicious! Will definitely be coming back again!

Incredible service and 10/10 food! Expected standard brunch food, but was pleasantly surprised. Order the foccacia, burrata, and pork pasta!
