Olive & Sea is a rooftop waterfront restaurant on the famed Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal, serving colorful and bold Mediterranean-style dishes, livened by fresh flavors, locally sourced daily seafood specials, and ethically sourced seasons and rubs. Complementing the extensive menu is a creatively crafted cocktail program that infuses traditional Eastern Mediterranean spices, and locally inspired ingredients like citrus and herbs, to deliver a taste sensation as bold in flavor as they are in color. Whether hopping off the Water Taxi for a quick coastal cocktail, convening with friends for happy hour, celebrating a special occasion, or simply looking to enjoy an exquisite dining experience and sweeping Intracoastal views, Olive and Sea is a must-sea-and-taste destination. Sunday-Thursday, the kitchen is open until 10pm and the bar is open until 10:30pm.

It was a busy night and there were multiple parties occurring on this hotel property, so our server was especially busy. That’s the only issue for us. Other than that everything was outstanding. Our food was delicious.

Basic hotel restaurant. By the way breakfast buffet is over priced- a twenty per cent tip is charged for basically pouring coffee and pointing you toward buffet table

The patio is beautiful. The service was terrible and they were not busy. The hostess needs some training, we waited half an hour for drinks, we were four people and got the bread with three appetizers. Some lavash and 1 pita came with a small piece of some other kind of bread. Seriously, not four pita’s for four people? So we asked for more bread they informed us it would be $12. Ok, so they charge for bread, we said yes. We waited and waited finally 3 of the 4 meals came and after about 10 minuets the fourth arrived. They 5 minutes later the bread came. We said,”no thank you.” Such bad service it’s not surprising they were not very busy. We had been in Ft Lauderdale for three nights and the other restaurants were twice as busy and much better service. I will say the patio is quiet, so you can actually have a conversation with you friends. The food was average.

Food was mediocre at best and was way overpriced for what you received. Service was OK. Didn’t like the fact that they added an auto gratuity for a small party. Overall disappointing dining experience.

The view from the outside seating area are fantastic with all the fine yachts in view. Having said that, it is the only thing that is great at this restaurant. Took 20 minutes to get a cocktail and one of them was wrong. The food was okay but not great for the prices charged and it was very slow to get our dinners. I will not be going to this restaurant again in the future.
