Atmosfera affascinante

Oliver's Bistro has occupied the South Beach corner of West Avenue and Ninth Street for almost 20 years now. The occupation has been a quiet one with outdoor tables and chairs (under bright orange umbrellas) and a warm indoor dining area.

We are serving breakfast in the morning, lunch from 11am and dinner until 11pm. Saturday and Sunday we have a whole brunch menu until 3pm
Parking is available street side or in the garage above the restaurant, which can be accessed from 10th street. Plus the outdoor section is pet-friendly! We have a diverse menu and we are open everyday!

Had a reservation and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. They were going to seat us at a very small table next to a large table with 3 small children running around. As my husband has a brain tumor I thought that would be too noisy and asked if we could sit at an open table on the other side but was told it was a 4-top and we were just 2. There had been a single person dining there previously but I was told we could not have that table. Meanwhile, they sat 2 women there.

I always take off a point when the places has automatically gratuity. The Mojito and waffle were really good, and the ex Benedict was pretty good if a little on the small side. Also, the potatoes were a little too well done.

Une première fois pour nous et ce ne sera pas la dernière:) l’accueil , la gentillesse des serveurs tout était parfait. La nourriture exceptionnelle! Essayez les raviolis au Homard … wow délicieux

Outside seating. Intimate dining space beneath large umbrellas. The lovely ambiance of a small French cafe. The food is fresh and innovative and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Oliver’s has maintained its high standard for over 20 years. The menu has many delicious choices & the daily specials are exciting. The neighborhood ambience is relaxing, quiet, and so lovely. Well trained staff never rush you and are attentive. We love the food and will be back again soon. Debbi

This evening was a nightmare!!! We were greated with a nod and “take any table” We then were confronted with a non smiling server, asking what kind of water we want!!!never ask d if we would like a drink!! Then stood at the table demanding to know what we wanted to eat!! I happened to get a phone call and hadn’t read the menu but instead of suggesting that we take a few moments to decide he stood over our table!! I ordered a all vegetable plate and after I asked if I have a choice of vegetables and was informed that NO!! You take what is given!!! The plate arrived and mind you the cost was $28 I received a teaspoon of spinach,?three asparagus and cut up squash!! It was pathetic!! My husband ordered lentil soup that was a watered down version and a burger that was completely dried out and two flowers of broccoli for $24 We used to patronize Oliver’s frequently and the staff was always respectful and very obliging and the food was a good quality!! What happened? We will never return!!
