Located on the 8th floor of Erie's newest hotel, Oliver’s Rooftop overlooks Erie's beautiful bayfront and indulges guests with inventive and extraordinary cuisine served alongside stunning views and captivating sunsets.

Oliver’s Rooftop offers incredible vantage points of Presque Isle Bay provided by massive floor-to-ceiling glass panels. A retractable glass wall allows for open-air dining on the rooftop balcony in favorable weather.

Oliver’s Rooftop is a one-of-a-kind culinary destination that pays homage to Erie’s rich maritime history. Oliver’s Rooftop is named in honor of Oliver Hazard Perry, an American naval commander best known for his heroic role in the 1813 Battle of Lake Erie. Visitors to Oliver’s Rooftop will have the chance to view Perry’s flagship, the US Brig Niagara, in her home port adjacent to the restaurant.

Oliver’s Rooftop is the crowning jewel of Erie’s newest hotel, the Hampton Inn & Suites.

I’ve had dinner here several times and have had amazing service and meals. A little pricey but well worth it for the food, view, atmosphere and drinks. Our server this past visit was very attentive in spite of it being very busy. Will definitely go again my next visit to Erie

Very lovely experience, the setting was beautiful and comfortable. Our server was excellent, Michael was his name, he was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was outstanding quality. The volume in the restaurant was peaceful which was a great surprise. I’d definitely go back. Plus using OpenTable for a reservation is always a convenient and easy.

This was one of the best meals we’ve ever had in Erie! I had an Italian meatball soup that had the most pleasantly flavorful broth I’ve ever tasted. The seafood scampi was LOADED with two sizes of shrimp, scallops and langoustino shrimp and had a great flavor. Nathaniel, our server, was very nice, efficient and attentive to food allergy issues, And, the view of the lake was beautiful!

A terrific celebration experience -- thanks! The appetizers are generously sized, and the baked brie, shrimp, sticky wings and stuffed banana peppers were all hits. We had no misses, in fact, and enjoyed the lobster bisque, strawberry spinach salad, salmon burger and more. The restaurant was not busy during our reservation, and service was attentive without being overbearing. Overall an outstanding meal.

Absolutely amazing food, decent prices (can go expensive if you choose to) fun and delicious drinks. Hooked our friend up with a free birthday dessert with 3 spoons for us that made our whole night perfect. What a nice surprise and so yummy!!

Went for wife’s birthday. Enjoyed chicken piccata and chicken Alfredo. Both excellently prepared. Had drinks at the bar with Mike who treated us very well. Excellent evening topped off with the flaming birthday dessert.

So good and excellent views. My husband had the surf and turf and I had the walleye and a blackberry margarita. Everything was wonderful and it felt like a special end to our visit to Erie.

Wonderful experience had by all! We celebrated a birthday, the staff was amazing…4 of our 5 party members had never been to Oliver’s before and will absolutely be back.
