On The Bend is an upscale yet casual seafood dining concept that combines fresh contemporary styling with a multi-purpose venue offering lunch, dinner, and late night hot spot appeal. Situated at River level on an attractive bend of the famous San Antonio River Walk within the atrium of The Hyatt Regency Hotel. On the Bend has a two-tier patio which allows for breathtaking views. Our venue is comfortably positioned behind tropical palms and lush landscaping and boasts the only open-air river level bar on the River Walk.

                                                                                                    It was my first time eating at this restaurant. After living in SA for over 7 years, I can't believe I did not come before. Food was great, jazz music (ambient) was awesome, and Vanessa the waitress was very professional and attentive. I will recommend this restaurant.

                                                                                                    Had a very good time. The ambience was great. The live band was soulful, food was good, customer service was great and swift. It was a great experience. And it couldn't be in a better location right on the Riverwalk.

                                                                                                    This was our second time this week at On the Bend. Again, it was a delightful experience. The service and food outstanding! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu. The food was hot and fresh, and delicious! We were able to visit, as the music was at the appropriate level. Kim and Victor awesome. Thank you.

                                                                                                    Great service and nice location right on the River Walk. The problem was the food. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and specifically asked if it was a chicken breast as he is not a fan of dark meat. The server said "yes, it is". The sandwich he was served was primarily thigh meat. It was fatty and the undercooked skin was still on the meat. It was not edible. I had the bourbon glazed salmon served on a wood plank. I wanted to love it but I just couldn't. It was extremely dry and overcooked. The drinks were good, as was the service.

                                                                                                    My husband and I love oysters and to hear about an oyster bar on the Riverwalk with live music would anticipate the perfect date night. We ordered the oyster variety platter: oysters rockefeller, oysters kilpatrick, oysters muffaletta. To our disappointment they were all very bland and not seasoned. Squeezing lemon juice and adding tabasco still didn't help. Best part of the night was the free entertainment!
