The food was sub par and not worth the $100 per person banquet it was advertised for. They ran out of oysters and provided overcooked and smelly prawns. Then tried to say the jasmine tea was not included and had to provide a screenshot of what was advertised. The food was no better than what you get at your local Chinese tuck shop which we would have preferred. Views of the gardens are great but they won’t let you walk through. The place was empty on a Friday night, I suspect some of the reviews are fake. Don’t waste your time as all three of us were underwhelmed.

The gardens are fantastic and so is the food. But we expected more in the banquet -its not a big yum cha, if thats what you’re looking for. I’d go back again to give the menu another try - just wouldn’t do yum cha there

This is my 3rd visit to this restaurant and thelast times were fabulous ! This time it was not good value for money at all , very small portions and definitely not up to standard and yet such a beautiful setting . Disappointing.

Although the food was nice we had the mixed fried option. We sat down at 1.45 and wanted to order the vegetable noodles as well. Were told that they had no noodles left. I found that a little strange at lunch in a Chinese restaurant. Oh well. What we had was nice.

The setting was lovely but honestly for the price nothing was particularly amazing. Would have loved to be more wowed… or at least more full $130 later.

Special, delicious dining experience for my friends birthday. Gorgeous view of the Chinese Friendship Garden during our meal. Enjoyed walking the garden for hours afterwards also. Highly recommend, will definitely be back and bring more people next time!
