Celebrating our 50th year, The Ore House continues as the area's longest dining tradition. The converted 110+ year old barn showcases Steamboat's ranching history while serving savory hand-cut Certified Angus Beef® steaks and chops, seafood, salad bar, and craft cocktails. All entrees include bread service, salad bar, and (2) side choices. An attentive staff will add to your evening as you enjoy the rustic atmosphere of this local gem. Available outdoor seating (seasonal), 3 open flame fireplaces (seasonal), bar seating at either of (2) bars, Private Dining options, and the ability to host events from 15 to 115 guests allows this iconic establishment to fulfill all your dining needs. And be sure to save room for dessert!

Good quality food—“throwback” salad bar with good quality selections. Bison ribeye was delicious. Western ambiance.

We are from McCalla, AL. We were here last year too. Enjoyed it so much we came back. The Terriyaki Chicken is awesome!

We always make a point of visiting the Ore House when in Steamboat. It is a family tradition and we are always guaranteed good food, wine and service. Will our waiter did a wonderful job with our group.

We had a great meal. We tried the bison and the elk as well as the fillet and strip steak. All excellent!

We did not know to ask for downstairs, which has all the atmosphere! Our service was timely and our waiter was very personable. The Prime Rib was excelent and the salad bar great. The fried potato ball was not as flavorful or crispy as i expected and the ruby mountain trout is more like farm raised salmon…. Again, not what i expected. The priced are in line with other Steamboat restaurants.
