Japanese cuisine has a long history, and its representative 'KAISEKI' cuisine is said to have originated from tea ceremonies, however, over time, it also became the origin of banquet cuisine. Osaka Bar's 'KAISEKI' course, which pursues the fun and deliciousness of seasonal ingredients and local food here in Australia, intentionally includes sushi (offered Omakase style) to create a pre-fixed menu that is typical of Australia. Please enjoy the Three fundamental principles of Japanese cuisine, 'Seasonal ingredients' 'The taste of the ingredients' and 'Omotenashi' the spilites of Japanese hospitalities through delightful conversation with the chef.

This course begins with a beautiful assorted KAISEKI appetiser platter, making you feel as in Japan. It includes seasonal Chawan-mushi, 8 hours slow-cooked A5 grade KAGOSHIMA WAGYU beef, served with homemade creamy tomato sauce, topped with crispy beetroot. The Highlight is ONE LIVE LOBSTER for each guest, with the cooking method chosen by customer. Following that, Chef,KAZU's selection of 12 PREMIUM-grade Sushi (OMAKASE sushi) will be served, featuring only HIGHEST guality ingredients in a continuous offering of premium sushi.

The KAISEKI tasting set consists of 5 courses. Among them, 3 meals include the same dishes as the SUSHI KAISEKI course, so you can also experience 'KAISEKI cuisine' with this set. The ollaborationn with 'AKI PAN' a Japanese bakery in Pyrmont, has resulted in a popular item; WAGYU KATSU SANDO. As for Sushi, it's not included in this set menu, so it needs to be ordered separately. One of the charms of this set is that you can order as many of your favorite Sushi as you like, rather than 'OMAKASE'.
