Chef Eugenia Hobson and her team prepare authentic Greek dishes served attentively in a breezy Aegean-inspired atmosphere. Our signature dishes include the grilled octopus, the kolokithokeftedes (stuffed zucchini fritters), the lavraki whole fish (branzino) filleted table side, and the arni giouvetsi (lamb shank with orzo). Our selection of nine desserts are all made fresh daily in-house and feature Greek classics such as the baklava and the galaktoboureko. Our wine list is meticulously curated on a seasonal basis by son Philip Hobson selecting from Greece's top vineyards who produce indigenous varietals such as Assyrtiko & Xinomavro, and western grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon & Sauvignon Blanc. Our beer selection focuses on bottled Greek brews while our bar is fully stocked to serve both classic cocktails and signature drinks inspired by the best bars in Athens. Outdoor tables are available in the summer months.

                                                                                                              Had another wonderful meal at My Mother Eugenia! Our waiter was amazing. We were celebrating our friend’s birthday and he upgraded our champagne; we shared an entree and he had the kitchen divide it so no awkward dividing food up at the table. All 6 of us were happy campers.

                                                                                                              ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible Dining Experience – Outstanding Service by Adulius and Team! We had the pleasure of dining at Mom Eugenia Shirlington to celebrate our friend’s birthday with a party of 10, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and authentic Greek vibe set the perfect tone for our celebration. What made the evening truly special was the outstanding service provided by the manager, Adulius, and his amazing team. Despite our large group, Adulius went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of, checking in frequently and making sure everything was flawless. The waitress was also fantastic — knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. The food? Absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — easily some of the best Greek cuisine we've ever had. Everyone at our table was raving about how delicious everything was. A huge thank you to Adulius and the team for making our celebration unforgettable. Their hospitality and professionalism were truly next level. We’ll definitely be coming back soon! Highly recommend this place for great food, great service, and an amazing atmosphere.

                                                                                                              We had a great dinner at the new location. They have a front window table that seats about 8-9. Our waitress Christine was so competent. The gentleman playing the Greek stringed instrument near the front door was engaging and welcoming. The star of the show was by far the google. We were blown away. It was a whole other level of Greek food. So amazing. Loved the spreads, meatballs, spreads (heavenly pita), spanicopta, eggplant, and beautiful Baklava. It was the best Greek food we have ever had (6 people from all corners of the country agreed). Please go, you won’t regret it.
