Chef Eugenia Hobson and her team prepare authentic Greek dishes served attentively in a breezy Aegean-inspired atmosphere. Our signature dishes include the grilled octopus, the kolokithokeftedes (stuffed zucchini fritters), the lavraki whole fish (branzino) filleted table side, and the arni giouvetsi (lamb shank with orzo). Our selection of nine desserts are all made fresh daily in-house and feature Greek classics such as the baklava and the galaktoboureko. Our wine list is meticulously curated on a seasonal basis by son Philip Hobson selecting from Greece's top vineyards who produce indigenous varietals such as Assyrtiko & Xinomavro, and western grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon & Sauvignon Blanc. Our beer selection focuses on bottled Greek brews while our bar is fully stocked to serve both classic cocktails and signature drinks inspired by the best bars in Athens. Outdoor tables are available in the summer months.

                                                                                                              Always warm and welcoming; great food, great drink, great ambiance! Tanya was so helpful and accommodating…and did I mention that the food is delicious?!?! Two of us at lunch, celebrating a birthday. Never rushed, we spent a couple of hours relaxing and enjoying the perfectly cooked appetizer and our seafood dishes. Love this restaurant!!!

                                                                                                              We have been to Our Mom Eugenia at the Shirlington location several times. The first reservation I made, the food was Amazing!!!! and we found out that Mom Eugenia was the cook on that day. Our next visit, unfortunately our meal was not even close to the first time. We decided to give it another try and it happened again. We were very unhappy with our meal again and decided not to come back until about a month ago. We enjoyed the time at the restaurant & our dinner. We asked & Mom Eugenia was the cook that night. I made a reservation last night because my Mom is visiting and wanted her to taste Greek Food. Also I mentioned to her about the restaurant and told her a bit of the history. Unfortunately, it happened again. My Mom was not impressed and it made me sad. I am trying to figure out why this pattern keeps happening. I am disappointed because I love that type of food but at the same time I don't appreciate the ups and downs. Very Respectfully, Vanessa

                                                                                                              We dine here often and love the lamp chops. They keep having smaller portions and still a high price. My friend had chicken breast and it was dry. they now have a espresso martini that is excellent. Our server forgot to bring it and had to be reminded when he brought the meal. All in all, it wasn't their best effort.

                                                                                                              Food is always wonderful, but on a Friday night was too loud to have a conversation without yelling. Also, the banquets are way too far away from the tables to be comfortable. Even with the kindly supplied loose cushions, one has to move to edge of the bench to be at a reasonable distance from the table and attempted conversation.

                                                                                                              Always a flavorful meal. My favorite greek restaurant in the area. We often eat here before going to a show at Signature Theater, down the road. We know we’ll enjoy the meal at our own pace and still have plenty of time to make it to the theater on time.

                                                                                                              The food was great, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. The menu is so extensive, I couldn't figure out what to order, but I'll definitely be thinking about the moussaka until I go back again. Oh, and don't get me started on the orange sponge cake. Delish!

The bar is fun. So many restaurants serve mediocre food at high prices and disappoint. My Mama Euginia’s will not disappoint!

We started with a fine Greek salad and then enjoyed two appetizers: a shrimp dish and the filet mignon on a skewer. All dishes were top-notch. Our server was attentive and helpful. Both the ambience and the food reminded us of our recent vacation in Athens. Highly recommneded!
