Chefs Nick Diaz and Kiefer Manning have been hard at work renovating the historic Chicago & Great Western Railroad Depot into a cozy and inviting restaurant for you to enjoy. Our Paladar offers a locally sourced, seasonal dinner menu most evenings. You can look forward to handmade breads and pastas along with small and main plates. Overall, another great experience at Our Paladar! The live acoustic music was nice, but a little loud, such that having a conversation was a little strained. Food was delicious as always, spendy, but good quality. Service was excellent, A+!

I went with a friend for the Rochester restaurant week so we both picked food from the special menu and ordered a side dish of cauliflower that was amazing. It’s been a while since I was at Our Paladar and the menu improved greatly . The service was impeccable.

Great food, great atmosphere. But, it felt very understaffed. Nearly all tables were filled and they had 2 server and 2 staff bussing tables, felt like they could’ve benefited from 1 more server. A lot of dead time waiting for someone to come by to take our order, took us 2.5 hours for the break start to finish. Also, the fish main course was small relative to all other main dishes. Wish it came with a grain or something to give it a little more substance. Felt more like a generous ‘tapa’ than a meal, we ended up sharing food from other people’s meals to even out the distribution of food. We will certainly come back, but hope the feedback is considered.

We were so excited to visit Our Paladar after hearing great recommendations. While the food was good, our experience was disappointing due to a billing issue that could have been easily resolved with better communication. This We ordered Yuka Fries, the crab pasta, and oysters. The oysters were fresh and tasty. The crab pasta arrived, but the sauce was too heavy for my daughter to eat. I requested an order of pasta with butter and fully expected to pay for both. I also asked for the Yuka Fries to be remade without any sauce. To my surprise, I was charged for the Yuka Fries twice, totaling $28 for fries. When I spoke with the owner, he explained the second charge was because he had comped the pasta. However, upon reviewing the bill, the pasta was not comped. I want to note that I fully expected to pay for the additional buttered pasta, as I ate the original crab pasta dish, but being charged $28 for Yuka Fries seemed unreasonable, especially as the original toppings—sauce and lemon—were overpowering. Instead of taking a moment to review the bill and address the issue, the owner walked away without further discussion, which I found unprofessional. It’s such a shame he escalated the situation rather than recovering it. This misunderstanding could have been resolved quickly with better communication. While the food was enjoyable, the attitude toward addressing the issue left us certain we wouldn’t be returning. They must be doing very well to treat their customers this way. I hope this feedback helps future customers. Be aware that they are not very accommodating and will charge you for adjustments. This was supposed to be a special treat for my daughter who just had a medical procedure. The owner of this establishment does not care about his customers or dealing with any issues reconsider going to this place because if there’s any problems you will be dismissed. This is not the customer service that should be provided.

We have eaten here many times & enjoyed it. We had a reservation for 8:30 pm but were not seated until 9:20 pm & did not get any food until close to 10 pm. The dining space was very cold. All of the wait staff were lovely but overall this felt like a lot of money for a less than fantastic dining experience.

Excellent service. Delicious food. Wanted the bucatini but it doesn't come with meat and you can't add meat. Our server said it was delicious even without the meat and she was right! I didn't miss the meat at all. We also had the tuna tatare and it was so flavorful, light and delicious. My friend had the ragu and I tasted it. SO good! We shared the guava sorbet with mango and tajin for dessert. My mouth is watering thinking about it. We also each got a complimentary glass of wine for my birthday. Definitely recommend! Amazing place!

Great food and impeccable service. Our drinks were taking a little long and the server, without us saying a word, comped our drinks. The steak was cooked perfectly. The tuna tartar was the best I’ve had. Very good sablefish. The focaccia bread was homemad and “chef’s kiss”. Cocktails were delicious. Will be back!
