Under the creative direction of Chef de Cuisine Kyle Lew, Oval Room Brasserie offers a wide selection of classic brasserie and bistro dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

With menu options ranging from sharing plates to dinners for two and everything in between, plus an extensive cocktail and wine selection curated by our Wine Director, Christopher Sprague, Oval Room Brasserie is the perfect spot to start your day or wrap up your day with family, friends or colleagues.

    This was by far one of the best dinners we have had in quite some time. The ambiance is amazing as always. Our server was particularly exceptional—she made our entire night. The food was perfect and we were very surprised at a price comparable to some places that could not touch the quality of the food nor the environment. The goldeye appetizer may just be one of the best things I've ever tried. We were with some of our closest friends that we do not get to see enough and this was a perfect night.

    The steak was not what we expected from this level of restaurant. It was rough and not well seasoned. The fish, however, was excellent.

    From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and service was amazing despite them becoming busy. They provided a perfect wheelchair accessible location for my friend and accommodated our needs If we asked for something from another server or supervisor they willingly obliged. We ended up staying way longer than the 2 hr limit to which they graciously allowed until they needed the table. The food was amazing especially the smoked goldeye bites and signature oval room chocolate hazelnut cake, wow! We will definitely be back Thanks to Pauline for her graciousness

    The Fort Garry Hotel has a great ambiance. It is an amazing place to slow down and enjoy the historic facility while being served an excellent experience.

    One of, if not THE, best places to eat, drink, and be merry. Always a lovely surrounding, but especially cozy and inviting for the holidays. Always welcoming and very attentive service with a wide variety of excellent food.

    This was our first time here and it was spectacular. Service from Fran was absolutely top notch and the cocktails are perfection. The mussels are to die for and be sure to save room for the dessert menu!

    Fabulous night out to celebrate a 50th birthday. Great service, a bonus that their sommelier was in-house and brought us a beautiful white wine not featured on the wine list. It is a open concept so very much "hum" to the room.
